Nope, ADSL, average 6-10mb/s downloading speed. Fun fact is that for the past five hours I have been downloading the patch smoothly enough (from 0.05 to 0.20mb/s, with client crashing about a dozen times) and run Youtube in the background at the same time.

the moment I got tired of videos and closed my browser because I thought the patch would be almost done, download of patch dropped to 0.0mb/s, and now does so every time I restart the client.

My best guess is that the NA log in peak is driving the download server nuts.

Lot of people getting home (at least in this part of the world) and firing up their clients, I suppose... but yeah, SE's servers are known to do that, I've experienced it quite a few times myself as well. \:

Honestly if its taking you 6 hours to download that, im going to say its more than your connection

I downloaded it about 4 hours ago, and it was done within 15 min. =)

And I don't even have good interewebs.

Sucks, but usually best time to DL patch is during the maint when it first becomes available.
My DL took nothing more than a restroom break

As I said, I was able to run youtube during it, and it didn't interrupt or slow down. So it's definitely not it x_x All internet pages are opening and loading at a steady pace!
