Why no encrypted tomestone?

So a currently status report the data center i play on "mana" now has every party you are in a person getting their 3rd zeta. The game is not fun for those who are at end game and lack the time to farm lights to begin with. I hear nothing but "well just do coil" or "should've done your relic". First problem due to the hours i can play find 7 people to raid with and that will progress is 0 there is no chance in the world. Second problem i should not have to be doing my relic right now when i play the game there should be other options to "just wait". And for an added extra i can't PUG raiding on my server because i can't get experience and without exprience i get insta-kicked.

I should mention my comments above are not meant as an attack or to offend anyone. I simply want to provide a different perspective to show you the strain that others may face that want to play the same game as you guys/girls.

WoD should've dropped level 120 weapons from the final boss (Demon Sword, etc). This would've given casual players a chance to upgrade, but without a way to increase its level to 130+, it wouldn't upset anyone who's got a better weapon via other means! (Probably a bit late now though!)

On topic; WoD should just offer Weapon Tokens as an option for your weekly loot choice. Grab it, get an i120 weapon, unable to be upgraded.

Off topic; You'd be better off worrying about your opener if you're having aggro issues, not your weapon. (I've taken aggro off tanks with i135 Dread/Zeta using my Nexus Bravura with just damage maximizing[Defiance down unless using Unchained for the free 10% Crit Boost & 300 potency Inner Beast])

My WAR (i113) is +30 STR, 18 STR/ 20 or 21 VIT based i110 accessories and with my old Novus I tanked Dreadwyrm DPS fine, single or multitarget. My PLD (i110) is +30 VIT, same STR/VIT based i110 accessories and with i100 weapon tanks Augmented DPS fairly easily on single target.

This. I've been volunteering to OT, but if I'm OT'ing, it's because I'm DPS'ing. If I'm pulling threat, withou Defiance, and I'm also not using butcher's Block . . it also means I'm doing top DPS to a single target. That means I've just shamed 5 people in the party. That being said, less shameful to the DPS, depending on the party makeup, I'll use SE/P > BB >SE/P > BB, maintaining Maim the whole time, and landing two BB's with full buff's on. If the other tank didn't open using the same or equivalent opening, I pull threat. The bonus threat from Defiance / Shield Oath is NOT soooo OP that you can just slack off all over the place and hold threat against people in decent gear that are pushing their DPS as hard as they can.

Re: People being asses, and pulling threat on stuff. I just got my Zodiac yesterday, but I can tell you almost every single run in Amdapor, somebody always popped the Mimic, AFTER I ran down the stairs to the boss. No, I'm not running back up there. Why are you trying to solo a Mimic instead of coming to the boss fight? I mean, drag it into the boss fight, I'll voke it off you and tank both. Making the whole party wait it just a drag.

And yes, if the party composition is one like MNK + BLM, I aim to keep the threat off the BLM. but if you start attacking stuff that I didn't even pull, and don't drag it to where the current MOBs are . . . I'll let that stuff kill you. better you die, then wipe he whole party imo.

Also, in Snowcloak, if I pull everything except the second wolves, I'm OK with DPS who pull those wolves into the group. . . (and into my already spammed Overpower) but if we wipe it's on you!

If you're raiding, you really should have an encrypted tomestone. If you're not raiding, everything can be done with shiva weapons if you don't wanna do relic. Heck I was using my shiva claws right when I got my first ilvl 130 weapon. In other words, 90% of the content doesn't require a weapon above ilvl 115+.

As someone struggling to beat t9, to get into FcoB and finally get my encrypted tombstone at T11...i'm very, very happy they didn't throw us one for free like Carbontwine.

It's a goal to work towards. I've already gotten my weapon from Shiva, and a few more to boot for other classes, but Encrypted Tombstone currently is my true reward for finally gaining entrance to the final coil. If I already had an encrypted tombstone, or could get them through Hunts or tower raids...i mean, what else do i really have to work towards? At that point i'm just grinding until Turn 13 for Dreadwyrm weapons.

They space the weapons very well in this game. I think it's currently in a decent place. If we could get Ironworks Weapons as easily as we could get Sol weapons, there would be zero reason to run Levi/Ramuh/Shiva EX.

Good news on this front. Encrypted Tomestones are coming to WoD in 2.55!
