Unable to Accept Queue While Playing Triple Triad?!

Hi all, I can't seem to find a way of exiting or conceding a game of Triple Triad to accept a queue that pops. I've missed 2 queues so far today. Next one I start getting penalties. I thought these mini-games were supposed to give us something to do WHILE queueing? But this issue makes playing while waiting on a queue seem like a dangerous proposition...

Yeah, not being able to commence duty when it pops while in a game is one thing - maybe even understandable. But the oversight of not giving an option to forfeit the on-going game to actually commence the duty, that is kinda...er, well, mind-blowing, to put it nicely.

A) Yes it is. When you go to commence duty while in the middle of Triple Triad, the game itself refers to Triple Triad as a mini-game "Unable to commence while in a mini-game"

and

B) Whether considered a mini-game or no, wouldn't we still want the option to at least forfeit a game to get to our queue? That doesn't seem like a lot to ask

Those are the mini-games that are meant to waste time while waiting in queue.

That said, a forfeit option wouldn't be bad.

I feel like most of the time I would do anything in the gold saucer would be while waiting for duties. If I can't even have a queue running while playing the gold saucer is going to completely lose its purpose for many.

We are looking into improving the Duty Finder as we move forward and we're checking whether or not we can provide measures for when players are matched while being engaged in content (for example, Triple Triad matches, during cutscenes, while crafting, etc.). Hang tight a bit longer and if we should receive more information, we'll be sure to pass it along.

Updates to duty finder will be very welcome. In particular, I'd like to see an option while crafting to delay accepting DF for an additional 30 seconds or so. To prevent abuse, this would only be available when crafting AND if you let the additional time expire and do not except, you could be locked out.

you know what? I don't care anymore... I am already reaching rank 20 on chocobo and jobs that I want at 50... so little use for me of that feature when it finally is implemented...

If your queue pops just start throwing down cards. This isn't FF8 where you lose them, and you may even just win!

It sounds like a Forfeit button would actually be worse than what you can currently do. Forfeit will most likely make you lose your entry fee, whereas even a loss gives you most of it back....
