Yeah im counting the numbers, and all your opponents have higher numbers. I feel like plus and same are the only viable rules to playing with NPCs. Every game is against your favor, you are at a disadvantage in every game until you can beat the RNG of getting good cards. How do you get good cards? Beat a much stronger opponent and pray to RNGesus, or grind MGP and get chance at a decent card or save up a ton and get the specific one.
I hear the remark of git gud almost every time someone says anything negative about it, but I feel bad for beginners who are starting out TT for the first time. Hard to git gud when you are starting out and a casual side game is kicking your butt.
There is no git gud in a random chance.
My only complaints: GATEs are fun, wish they spawned more, but atleast we know when/where they'll spawn so that's a +. Also, Wish there are hourly cactpots.
I think this is the problem, you start with no cards over a value of "5", but most of the NPC's that you play have values of 7 or better, so you're kinda out of luck unless it's a random rule.I think the only real issue I have with TT at the moment is that you're expected to do a lot of card grinding to get to a point where half the cards you've been grinding can even be added to your deck (due to the hilariously tight early hand restrictions). And the path to do so is, at least right now, not exactly very clear - a lot of TT opponents are straight up unbeatable at low levels without certain regional rules being around to balance the field.
