In my personal view, I think you got the jobs mixed up between the two staves?
Heartless looks more like a WHM staff than Mindbreaker does...and Mindbreaker seems more BLM like...does anyone else agree?

I'd love for these to be swapped around/open to both BLM/WHM

(is picky right now ...because my chara is stuck in ST limbo ;( )

Open yes, swapped around, because you find it more fitting to one class is a big NO.

I have to agree. WHM weapons are usually more nature-oriented and BLM ones usually have jewels. Something was mentioned about it in the artbook when talking about the weapon designs.

I'm also picky because I'm stuck in classes until tonight and I just wanna play.

I was also disappointed when I saw there was no book (even just one, available for glamour for both sch and smn, would have been fine IMO) and no axe >.< Apparently, all classes are not equal. *glares at GC weapon lists where certain classes/jobs are missing from certain level tiers*

These weapons are wielded by various dungeon bosses.
For instance, the new PLD red sword is the one held by the final boss in Haukke HM.
Same with other weapons such as the spear which came from Sastasha's boss.

They'll probably add more down the line... but as for now, I don't remind seeing a special book or axe from any boss monster (but I might be wrong here).
