Chocobo Racing - Sign Up Locations

So the 2.51 patch brought us some pretty cool casual content that the game dearly needed for its longevity, at least in my opinion. Square did an amazing job on all of the Gold Saucer content in my opinion. However like everything in an MMO, things could always use some adjustments.

One of the things that's been bugging me, and rolling around in the back of my head is; "Why do I have to go to the Gold Saucer to sign up for a Chocobo Race?" I mean casual content like this shouldn't be forced into one specific location. So, why not add secondary locations for players to sign up for the races.

The Chocobo Races takes place in specific zones in the game. South Shroud, Southern Thanalan, & the eastern side of Eastern La Noscea. So why not allow sign up for chocobo racing at the given locations via the maybe the Chocobokeep, or by adding a Race Chocobo Registrar npc there. One at Costa del Sol, one at Camp Tranquil, and finally one at Forgotten Springs.

TL;DR: Why not add additional locations for us to sign up for Chocobo Races?

This would be a nice thing to have, or even at it to the DF queue. I'm willing to bet the choco area is lagtastic for some players.

Yeah, I see more benefits in the long run than downsides to it, but again its all up to Square

They probably won't to create traffic in Gold Saucer. Once everyone got all the NPC Cards from Triple Triad, people won't go there again and if you add extra sign up locations for Chocobo racing, again, people will no longer visit the place. That's the only thing I can think of.

Yeah I get what you're saying. But even taking that into consideration I doubt it'll be a large issue. I'm sure over time Square will add more reasons for people to occasionally venture to the gold saucer. Even with additional race sign up locations people would still need to go there for Feeding and Covering.

Right now racing feel like i'm going to some seedy underground betting area, albeit a fancy & clean one, but still seedy none the less.
