a noob's perspective (suggestion)

hey guys im still new to this game and this game is beautiful so far, even though there are a couple downsides that i would like to point out such as :

1. we can't duty roulette with a party : lets face it, DPS class (always) have a hard time queueing for dungeons while tanks and healers are fast for obvious reasons. maybe we can we have a a duty roulette where we can party? me and my friends level together with different roles to save the time for DPS classes to queue to complete the daily duty roulette and to complete the challenge log. but if we can queue together for roulette later in the game, im sorry to be hasty here

2. cant queue duty finder while having our companion : i really love to spam dungeons, i cant really level my companion during the time im queueing. maybe theres a way to give the ease for players to multi-task better

i have no intention to flame or mock anyone. but yeah, aside from what i state above, everything is perfect,

what do you guys think?

1. You can Duty Roulette as a party @ 50, but not pre-50. Unfortunate, but at least you'll have that to look forward to.

2. This has been brought up many times and I believe they said they're looking into fixing it but it's been... quite awhile. Maybe in 2.55 or 3.0.

They have been "working on it" since you were able to summon companions... 2.0? 2.05? Forever ago. I have given up on this one xD

Dont give up! Because of the short development time ARR has a few quirks that need to be worked out. They designed the companion feature from the ground up to take up a party slot, it takes a lot of work to change something that is the foundation of an entire feature. It may take some time, but I'm sure they'll come through. Game development is a lot more tricky than many of us know.

Yea but I only gave up when they said that your companion chocobo will be different from your racing chocobo, and in 3.0 we get flying mounts... kinda leans away from the whole companion system entirely, but I hope I'm wrong since getting them to Lv20 is still a pita :P

High Level and Expert roulettes can be done in a party. You'll unlock those as you are less-new, I suppose.

I agree with Apemare, and it's good to know that after 50 we get to party for Duty Roulette. But I think to be able to do that pre 50 would help a lot, at least for me speaking as a noob myself (Highest class Dragoon lvl 42). Also speaking of companion, if I may add to the suggestion list. I wish there's an auto dismount feature for using skills, though minor as it seems. Or maybe there is but I just didn't know it.
