using your logic we can say that glad will be white mage, lancer will be black mage, pug will be paladin, con will be dragoon......., you see i doesn't really make sense because jobs are going to be an extension of the current class(not just renamed classes) new gear, maybe new weapons, and new skills, im not saying they wont make arch bard, i just think it would be ridiculous.
Nah, that is twisting my logic. My logic is that a job is going to add to the class in one of two ways. Specializing it into a single role or adding a new elements to the class. For example, paladin is a specialized role for the gla into tank only. The paladin will have less DPS but more tanking ability. The archer only has one role though. Adding more dps abilities to a dps class? What would the point be? You can do that by leveling lancer or something and pulling their abilities. Archer is unique in the fact it is already specialized as DPS. You can not specialize it further, so adding new elements would be ideal.
