The Future of THM

I think Bard is nice option for a job as an archer. Archers already do DPS and do it very well. What else could SE do? Give archer, I dunno, Sniper and make them a DPS class... even more? Archer is one of the few classes that has no other role than DPS. I would find it to be a wise idea to give archer jobs that add to what the class can do and more roles to fill. Bard gives the archer the option of buffing and debuffs in a group. Jobs giving a class more options and higher desirability for a group sounds in-line with SE job mentality.

This is the same reason I think THM would be good for White Mages. Jobs are intended to add to the class and add to the roles it can do. SE has made it very clear that a job is not an advanced version of the current class. The THM job shouldn't be a class that enhances it ability to debuff and nuke, THM already does that. The job should give it a new role.

Once again, just my line of thinking.
