I'm a little dissapointed that we aren't getting an extreme version for urth's fount or for the chrysalis. I guess it's cool that there'll be a lot of stuff to do in the golden saucer but I really only was looking forward to another fight to sink my teeth into honestly.

This is 2.51 for a reason. In the past, .X1 usually just meant that we were getting small hotfixes and other things like that. We'll probably see big things like Urth's Fount/Chrysalis EX in 2.55.

the main parts of this update were gold saucer and zodiac. more will come next month.

They are not items. If they were they'd be in the item list at the bottom. I don't think there is going to be any RNG item drops in this. Sounds like straight up light farming to me.

Could just be like bring me 12 of each atma and not need new items

Well I do hope that they can drop the RNG shit off this round though.

And someone mentioned about light farming for every atma, and IIRC the data mining hinted at that too.

it's not because nexus was 2k light that everytime they add a light farm it have to be 2k for each item you need to farm light.

farming 166 light for each mahatma isn't more work than farming 2k once.

also when they add the books for animus they added 2/3 books for each IG stat, that didnt mean you had to farm all existing books (possibility: each mahatma is tied to a stat and you only need to farm those for the stats on your weapon)

i want to think you mean 2k light, not 20k. to get nexus, its was 2000 light.
