How exactly can we get Odin Gear?

Just came back to FF XIV ARR a few weeks ago and I loved how that armor looks

I read that you must do his Gridania Fate in order to get an item to stack 5x and trade for a part of his set in Mor Dhona...

But I saw a pic where there were 5 parts of his set, also a cloth set, but I didnt find any better info about this...

How hard is it to get the set and his weapon?

Imagine how awesome it is if you have his set+weapon+horse =D

If anyone have the complete set with horse, please, share a pic of it with me xD

The gear that's in separate pieces for left side comes from the Odin trial. I imagine it must take a long time to get the entire set because I've never gotten this in trial roulette and I hear some parties have trouble downing him. Also, the gear is separate between DoW and DoM, so you'd not only have to see the specific item you want drop, you'd have to then win the roll on Need against other eligible party members.

The other gear requiring 5 mantles is only equippable by tanks, but you can see it in Mod Dhona.

Is it hard to get those mantles?

It can be, due to the sporadic nature of the fate pop. You can get 5 Odin's Mantles by completing the Odin FATE entitled "Steel Reign" with a gold rating. But when the fate pops is random and about once a week approximately.

The only way to know when it's available is to pay attention to the weather in The Black Shroud. Odin has his own rare weather event, which is very hard to miss. All zones in the shroud (with the exception of Gridania) will turn dark and dreary, with what looks like ash floating around. I've seen this weather labeled Hopelessness or Tension. Be advised this weather change will only happen at night (Eorzea Time).

I've probably earned 30-40, between what's in my inventory and what I've spent, so I don't rush off to Odin fates unless I happen to get an invite and I'm free. Odin fates are what S Ranks should have been, he's more of a Z Rank. There's more time to get into a party (which is important for credit and raises due to big AOE). Don't forget to reset your home point to the aetheryte near him, I always forget until too late.

I would personally recommend spending first 5 mantles on Slepnir Chocobo Barding (not same as mount which is cash shop). And find 7 others who want to grind out Odin trial until everyone has everything they want. All you need is 5 others, since I'm on the same server and wouldn't mind doing it to get helm for my DoW classes. It's a decent alternative to the latter EX Primals for people who haven't unlocked them I suppose.

Just don't forget to make sure you have inventory space. I learned that lesson the hard way.

The Odin FATE has been in the game, I'm pretty sure, since 2.0 was released. Those big FATEs being the closest thing we will ever have to 'world NM's'

If you collect the Odin mantles/Behemoth Horns, the items are different than running the Odin Trial. The Odin "equipment" is your weapon + a single piece of gear that spans all of your left side gear slots. B/C it spans all of the pieces, you can't glamour it. sucks D:

So, to say the same things as the above posters but more clearly:

The items you are looking for exist in game and are located in four different places:
    • Odin's Sword (Zantetsuken - PLD weapon): Trade 5 Odin's Mantles to Aelina in Revenant's Toll
    • Odin's Shield (Skjoldr - PLD, BLM, WHM offhand): Bought for 10,000 MGP in the Manderville Gold Saucer
    • Odin's Horse (Sleipnir - mount): Bought for $24 USD in the Mog Station (cash shop) [you can also get Sleipnir Barding for your chocobo by tading in 5 Odin's Mantles to Aelina in Revenant's Toll, but that's not quite what you were looking for]
    • Odin's Armor: individual pieces (Dark Divinity set - glamourable): Dropped by Odin in the Urth's Fount trial; all-in-one tank set (Herklaedi - unglamourable): Trade 5 Odin's Mantles to Aelina in Revenant's Toll

There are two fights against Odin. One is a giant FATE that rarely spawns somewhere in the Black Shroud (can be any of the zones). The other is a Trial duty, just like any other Primal fight.

The FATE is named Steel Reign. You'll know that it has spawned if, when you're in any of the Black Shroud zones except Gridania (East Shroud, North Shroud, South Shroud, or Central Shroud), the weather changes to something dark and ominous. I can't recall the exact name of the weather, but the icon is black and there are dark clouds and ash and such. It's pretty obvious when it happens. That indicates that the FATE has spawned, but it might not have spawned in the same zone that you're in. It could be in any of the zones. The FATE doesn't appear on the map until someone finds Odin and triggers it, but once that happens, you can see it on the map and the indicator is pretty huge. The FATE appears to have 2-4 potential spawn locations per zone (12 total).

Getting a Silver on the FATE gives you 1 Odin's Mantle. Getting a Gold on the FATE gets you 5 Odin's Mantles. As always, FATE credit is awarded based on how much aggro your entire party generates, so get into a large party and don't die. One trick is to set the zone's aetheryte as your home so you can respawn and rejoin without having to wait for someone to revive you. If you're not in the zone when the FATE ends, you get no credit. Odin takes on the appearance (or just the name?) of whomever deals the final blow to him the last time he was defeated.

To unlock the Urth's Fount trial, you have to first do a quest line. The first quest is "Primal Fear," which is given by Urianger in the Waking Sands and only requires you to have done the "The Black Wolf's Ultimatum" story quest (though the fifth quest doesn't appear until you've finished "The Ultimate Weapon"). The first four quests of this quest line ("Primal Fear," "Who Was that Man in Black," "The Dark Divinity," "All You Wanted to Know about Odin") were available from the beginning of 2.0, but the final quest that unlocks the trial ("Fear and Odin in the Shroud") was only recently introduced with 2.5. This fifth quest starts in Gridania at the Twin Adders compound. So, if you've done the first four quests, head to Gridania and you should see the quest marker over at the Adders GC.

Here is the loot list for the Trial (click on the Treasure Coffer). He drops one of eight items, two of which (gloves and boots) anyone can wear. The rest (body, pants, helm) have two versions, one for DoW and one for DoM.

Just two things I'd like to add:
First: You'll never see Odin in trials roulette since he isnt part of it (and I'd say we should be somehow glad about that...)
Second: You can also get Odins helmet (or at least one version of that, dont know if the one you're getting from the trial is any different) for 5 mantels - the "original" Odinset contained the helmet, the full bodypiece and Zantesuken. While the sword could only be used by a paladin/gladiator the other set was/is limited to tanks (as already said, just wanted to add that the helmet is actually a seperated piece that has to be bought aswell - but can be used without the armor aswell)
