    Hey Square Enix.. Want to hear a nice bit of information?

    Some people. Like to move around. And play FFRR on different computers..

    So if you'd be so kind as to NOT LOCK MY FREAKING ACCOUNT EVERY TIME I SWITCH TO A NEW COMPUTER.

    Also, would you PLEASE let us skip the opening cinematic? As much as I love to watch it every time I switch comps, I don't.

    What is particularly crazy is that this happens on PS4 where, you know, you are already logged in on PSN !!!

    I still think it is crazy to have to log in twice - once into PSN and again into FFXIV.

    And yes, this happens whenever your location or IP address changes for any reason at all. Utterly maddening.

    It's a thing called "Security", you log in from a different location (IP) it's going to look suspicious to them, funny as most who complain about this will be the first to want to tear SE's heads off for having their account compromised and having no security in place to stop it.

    Security token works wonders if you are on pc and I think is free on some phones.

    Expanding on what Myrhn wrote, if you add a security token to your account (either the actual physical hardware or the free software implementions for iOS and Android) then it'll no longer query any IP changes you have ever again (because you're now using a token that only you would have).

    Basically add the token and all your problems are solved and get a free teleport location in the process!
