I know you mean well but it goes back to the don't break the law to catch law breakers thing. Also... a lot of people are overly aggressive about trying to grief 'bots', when it might just be someone watching netflix with the screen half hidden or something like that. And that's where your might get a GM asking to have a little chat with you.

thats a b rankReporting All of them and had a little fun on the side.....
I saw an A-Rank Mob spawn and couldn't miss this opportunity!!!

a ranks always get zerged too and no one came to join you
If they're actual bots, they're not going to report griefing, so you're relatively safe. But a lot of people get over-zealous in trying to grief everyone who's gathering or farming mobs, assuming they must all be bots. Many of them aren't.
Some legitimate players choose to wear low level gear when gathering crafting shards (or other low-level items), because they're easy enough to gather that they don't require higher stats and level 1 gear is cheap to repair.
Some legitimate players won't respond to strangers trying to strike up a conversation with them. This could be because they're multi-tasking with only minimal attention on the game, because of language barriers, because they're not using a keyboard so responding is awkward, or just because they don't feel like talking to you. It doesn't have to mean they're bots.
With the spam bots sending out their advertising /tells, you can clearly identify that that is RMT spam. But with the gathering/farming bots, all you can do is make a guess that someone may be a bot. The rules against greifing them are based on the fact that your guess may be wrong.
there are some cases when its awful obvious tho...
Like this one time in C thana I found a pair of players wearing the same things, both conjurers, moving in a perfect line no matter where they went (maybe the follow command), when FATEs were up, they would run to them monotously, when no FATEs were up, they would run back to the Coffer and Coffin, and when they were fighting, all they did was throw stones and spew some aero, but funnily enough, they were in perfect sync even on this, attacking the same mob at the same pace, renewing Aero all the time after every Stone throw and if hurt they heal spammed themselves.
It was fun to watch them at that certain FATE there is one rat boss and a lot of minion rats which doesnt count for FATE completion... they were stuck with the minions, if the one they were targetting casted an AoE they would move aside, but if one they were NOT targetting were to cast an AoE, the AoE would 100% hit them... oh, they never reached the boss btw... and no, I didnt kill them myself, just observed :|
Another funny one in C thana as well, an invisible bot, spamming skills at a ridiculous pace and killing thing around... or that was till I managed to target it by Targetting the target of its current target :U! Once I managed to catch it tho, seems like the bot "sensed" me and dced... which brough about its own death by the monster it was targetting...
Thing is... some are rather obvious so dont feel too bad about reporting, after all, the admins do have to analize things themselves anyway.
