Roulettes need better rewards

It would help if they let you run the Dungeon portion of the Zodiac Quests on any Job. I wouldn't mind running 4000 dungeons on my Paladin if I could get credit for my Spharai. Lower Que times? <Yes, please>

Uh... They DO. I obtained 16/16 of the dungeon drops I needed for my Excalibur/Aegis as SMN, building up lights for my Veil of Wiyu Nexus. Now that I have Excalibur/Aegis, I'm running them AGAIN as PLD to take advantage of low queue times to get drops for my SMN. I even got Aurum Vale's drop while leveling my NIN - not even a level 50 job at the time!

You can get Zodiac dungeon drops on any job, as long as you have the quest open and on the correct stage of the quest.

I think they should add a RNG percentage increase on EX pony as a new player bonus to encourage veterans to bring a learner along.

Would help if SE gave tank achievements for roulette too instead of just EX/Coil.

There's plenty of ways for to cap poetics/soldiery: hunts, CoD, FL, etc.

The adventurer in need bonus just really isn't worth it for most tanks. 15,000gil for a ~30m run with strangers? No thanks.

There is some truth to this, but I don't think it's entirely accurate. I usually do dungeons as tank, but I don't really need to do anything other than expert to cap poetics, I also do trial since it's usually pretty quick, but all the others I rarely queue for. Since all the roulette rewards are just tomes I have no incentive to do anything beyond expert, however if there was some reward I was interested in I would most definitely start doing the other roulettes more often.

Almost right, I dont mind healing Ex and Hm Dfs. I do mind crazy speed running Tanks who don't use CDs and cant tank , trying to get shorter Q times. This is how I ended up healing Ex/Hm for FC members. I never Tank (War item lv 111) because no one ever follows my kill order and wont listen to me. So no Tank for You.

It's not just that no one wants to tank - I actually do enjoy tanking on my WAR. It's just that they like playing DPS more. I feel like I'm constantly in a DPS arms race with every other DPS, so I give all my resources to my DPS classes. That meant running WoD eight times last week hoping for bard drops. Whereas a tank in WoD has no competition from his fellow players, can complete out the WoD set first, and then start going as a DPS too.

We did Chrysalis last night as 7 parts FC with the hopes of picking up a DPS in duty finder. It still took us 6-7 minutes. Not that long ago, 7 people in a trial just needing a DPS would have been filled up the second someone queued.

I don't bother with low level roulette because low level dungeons are such a slog. The only one that can be done in a reasonable timeframe is Haukke manor.

I usually have poetics capped on Thursday and that's even when I work 8:30-5:30 on Tuesday and Wednesday. Running WoD for gear, CT and ST for the weekly, Trials Roulette because I enjoy it, and maybe an EX roulette or two. I just keep running after I cap because I can always use soldiery for something.
