Is it possible you were also benefitting from a chain bonus EXP? Killing mobs quickly one after the other will give you a chain bonus.

Also eat food - any food - for an extra 3%! =D

Also tbh I don't really know where the 5% extra is coming from!

Seems the "Not highest level bonus" of +50% also applies to the FC bonus, giving you an extra 50% of those 10% on top.

I've noticed that I get a weird bonus on some kills too but haven't paid enough attention to try and figure out why. Maybe its like those bonuses you can get if the right conditions are met at gathering nodes.

There are tier 2 versions of FC buffs that give enhanced bonuses.
