Lagging and latency on PS4

I have a major problem thats driving me insane. The title of this thread really says it all. I'm constantly getting lag and rubberbanding issues where everything will freeze and then happen all at once. Sometimes, if it's frozen for too long I get disconnected. And that's another thing; the disconnections in this game are really getting out of hand and making the game unplayable. I have a perfect ping that's in the 20's and everything with my system is perfectly fine. I have a solid wireless connection with everything else I play on my system, and keep it near my modem when I try to play a realm reborn because someone told me to try that to improve my connection but it barely works.

I have literally tried everything in my power to fix all the issues I'm having and nothing has been working at all. Especially because there isn't much to find for PS4 assistance. I'm on the server Ultros and live on the East coast (if it involves my area). Can someone please help me? I made another thread a few days ago explaining my disconnecion issues I'm having and this is more geared towards the slowing aspect
