Dragoon Job Quest Problem

I could really use someones help. I have a LVL 30 Lancer and LVL 15 Marauder, but the Job Quest "Eye of the Dragon" is not showing up at the Lancer's Guild. Am I missing something, or is it a glitch? I would really like to get my Dragoon Job, but no matter what I try the Quest just isn't showing up.

[Causality]

You need to complete the Main Scenario quest line "Sylph Management" Before you can get your job quest. (They made this Change in patch 2.41 Priorly there was no main scenario requirement ) So you have to get through that Sylph part first its around level 24 quest requirement and will have you do a dungeon called The Thousand Maws of Toto-rak.

Level 30 job quest requirements have been adjusted as follows:
Before:
Players must reach level 30 with the job’s associated class.
After:
Players must reach level 30 with the job’s associated class, and have completed the main scenario quest "Sylph-management."

Ok, I just started Sylph-management. I wish that was explained on one of the numerous sites out there.

Yeah they seem to glaze over that one or haven't updated it. Finish up that Sylph stuff and you should be good to go. Though if it updates to a new name I'd book it over to the Lancer's guild

Ok, I just started Sylph-management. I wish that was explained on one of the numerous sites out there.

It's a recent change as of 2.5, and wikis/etc are kind of notoriously bad about updating old information.
