I been on Malboro since beta phase 2 on PS3 (was Cerberus beta phase 1). I hadn't looked at the thought of moving. Not sure what keeps me on Malboro.Wish you were on my server. I spend great amounts of time every week teaching people T9. Lots of people have been moving to FCoB now. I cleared T9 5 times and it feels so amazing every time you down that b**** I just want the world to experience it too lol no joke.

I know that feeling. Behemoth was that for me for a long time, especially after my initial FC dissolved in ten different directions. That said, make sure you've got a home or friends on whatever server you head to or you'll wonder why you bothered spending the money.
Is not the same price on all the server. On Moogle it's 2 at 2.5m with loot for T9.
Tu brille aussi fort qu'un miroir de bordel

holy crap hey jim lol
I moved from Malboro because there's nothing on it anymore, that server is pretty much dead now apart from approximately 1-2 groups, heck even trade and co left to go onto other servers because of how low populated and low potential there is.
i moved to Odin and i got t9 downed instantly, ive even cleared FCoB multiple times now and ive not regretted my move. but 8m for T9? wtf. on Odin its like 2.5m max if i remember for t9, if i was you i'd consider the cost to move, i didn't regret it and i doubt you will. that server held me back and i felt like i was paying a sub to do my weekly poetics.
How friendly is the Odin population? I'm thinking about moving from Diabolos to Odin =D Are there many players? how's the queue?holy crap hey jim lol

well in comparison to Malboro its like drinking wine in comparison to drinking drain water.
Odin is normally always lively, remember though it is an EU server, while the majority do speak English as a first or second language, theres some germans, french, dutch etc.
Usually see t9 farms, pony farms, new primal farms and tries, practice groups, heck ive seen t10-13 in PF and ive heard of a PF group getting to divebombs in t13 before having to drop. its pretty decent for every aspect really, however it does have a bit of an inflated market but everyone seems friendly, i transferred, spoke to a few people in Limsa and now im in quite a few linkshells and a pretty lively FC :P
ALOT OF players.
Queues - Pretty decent, like 5m or less for roulettes dps, PvP queues are like 20m max for me on Maelstrom. dungeon queues are pretty decent tooif you ever transfer hit me up on it

Malboro is active, but mostly at peak hours. I get to enjoy content on my off days from work during those times. Other than that, I get off at 11pm. Only thing in PF is people selling stuff, Atma farm, and sometimes Hunts lol...holy crap hey jim lol

I'm concerned with your talking about buying T9 in terms of dollars. Is $30 a lot to clear a turn? Yes. But players aren't charging dollars, they're charging gil. The only ones who think of gil in terms of dollars are gil sellers and gil buyers.

I'm not a bit concerned by this. It's a completely relevant and realistic leap of logic; the people who are most likely to buy runs through raids are also probably much more likely to buy gil with real money. THESE are the lazy people raiders should REALLY be complaining about... not the casual players who just want access to a story mode of Coil. How are you two so blind to that?I'm lost why you're comparing gil to real money... I mean, the two are about as related as apples and oranges. Seriously, stop giving RMT credit for... anything. Though, if you really want to find out how much gil is worth in real money, ask around how much a wedding ring is worth. You know, the only 'legal' means of turning money into gil.
As an aside, I wonder how the guys who sell runs feel about the fact that they're profiting in-game off of gil buyers and gil sellers?
Really? Everybody plays games solely for a challenge? What about people who play for story? Due to the challenge faced in the raids, some people are being denied access to story. I'm not saying it's right for people to sell runs through the dungeons (or for people to buy them - that whole "market" shouldn't exist and solely serves to line the pockets of gil farmers/sellers), but I understand some peoples' motivations.Just a thought we play games for a challenge why pay to win? all your doing is filling a criminals pockets to progress one dungeon, why not learn to beat it rather than be carried. And not forgetting breaking the TOC if you pay Real money, which will enevitable get your account deleted / banned and what progress does that give? Nothing, just destroys what genuine challenges you have beaten, why jeapodise that for a single dungeon?

Total rip off. On tonberry they go for about 2.5 mil.Out of curiosity, I asked a PF person, who was selling Primals and Coils, how much his T9 was going for. Not just him, but many have said 8million. I felt 8mil was too pricey.
Shortly after, a Gil seller sent a tell saying to get 10 mil for about $35. That $35 is two monthly subs lol...
But for real, $30-ish dollars for one win? What about Final Coil? I've grown to accept that I am never getting the T9 win (tried a lot, only seeing Golems twice).
3.0 coming soon. Hopefully Coil completion isn't needed to access that content since I have everything else done.
