I don't want less difficulty, or more I would like less grind. And not a huge drop off in the grind as a MMO needs grind, but come on that relic quest grind, I just gave up. And not because its hard but because doing 9 books of the same boring tedious stuff is just not fun. And then spending all that money to upgrade and so on and so forth, that could definitely be toned down some. But yea less grind would be welcomed, my opinion of course.

The only thing that's hard in this game is finding people for stuff and for this I always blame servers being grouped by region. Because what's a good time for you to play is a bad time for others and so on. But now what's a good time for you to play could be a good time for some one half way around the world.

When I first heard of region servers was like no this gona be bad and it is in a way.

All we can do is complain thou because it's not like they going to get rid of region servers.

Can make game as easy as you want, there will still be a great number of people who can't do anything and whine about needing nerf.

Example: Ultros fight where DPS are reduced to having ONE move they need to do on ONE boss, and yet I still see parties wipe over and over again

The issue is that 70% market would be just as happy spending more time slowly consuming that difficult content, as the 30% would be consuming it quickly. Hardcore and Casual are not skill levels, they are rates of consumption, denoted by frequency of play. You can be a hardcore scrub, wiping to T10 6+ hours a day, and take it in a week, or you could be a skilled casual that takes it in 6 hours, spread out over a month.

"Too hard" is a whiny, whingey noise you hear far too often, a plea for a universal reduction in difficulty. When content has been cleared by others, you should strive to reach that level, not beg for it to be lowered to yours.

As to the other points, again I agree, that would be fun, but unfortunately it probably won't happen because the design of the game is get to max level as fast as possible, then do instances.

New content should be hard. Old content will be nerfed to encourage progression so that there are enough people to get to the new content.
    That's how linear MMO's work.

(this is an opinion, my opinion. feel free to ignore it)
If you look at the MMORPG history, all games that do not cater to a wide ranger of player skill levels either fail or are niche: If it is too PVP then then PVE players leave, if it is too "hard" the casuals leave, if it too x then y leaves. What the designers of a successful game do is find the "goldilocks" zone. There is some pvp, there is some easier content, there is some harder content, there is some casual content, and finally there is the content that requires you to treat the game as a 2nd job. There is also the timesink category but that one can vary and wander across the other play styles and expose you to them.
The concept of "nerfing" older content is nothing new. It is also a natural evolution in a game.

Okay all that being said, I have NO problem with having extreme primals, nightmare coils, etc. I also have NO problem with how 1st and 2nd coils that used to be the "nightmares" are now easy. I think that if this game is going to last as long as WoW or Everquest has then the cycle will stay the same: NEW content is hard(er), other content gets progressively easier as time goes on.
There are only two things that I honestly dislike about this game: a. I hate the 8 man raid size. (yes it is probably because I do not have a static) I feel then tend to encourage cliques and isolated grouping for the end game raids. b. When I enter a new dungeon (yes if it is anew dungeon or a new role, I clearly announce it in the party chat), and or raid (especially a "learning" one) is the elitest people that rant at a first time screwup, if I miss it repeatedly then yes get upset, but calling me a moron and a n00b, and advising me to just kill myself the first time I see the dive bombs in 5th turn is a huge turn off.

I would LOVE to see raids and dungeons that encourage FC (guilds) to come together and get them done.
