Please stop asking SE to make FFXIV more easy!

I'm going to flat out say it.... How important is the coil storyline to the vast majority of players? I'm not talking about the one's on the forum. I'm talking about the players you run into everyday while gaming. Every time I enter a new Turn... cutscenes are skipped before and after. No one really talks about what they saw if they do watch the cutscene. Everyone is more excited about the fight, how it progressed and which billy bad ass pulled everyone out of the fire, etc etc.

Is the Coil story REALLY so important to the FF14 community that it is worth it to cheapen this experience for the raiding community? Because I can guarantee that on a collective whole more people are getting rewarded by actually downing the upper-tier content and the euphoria it tends to induce, than the random individuals getting to finally see a cut scene. Please argue otherwise.... I just don't see it.

As a 1.0 player the story is very important to me. But with that being said i do not want nerfs sure maybe a miner one like lowering an adds hp but nerfing kill moves? No no thank you and echo sure yes please as content gets older echo away.

But major needs that just makes a raid just a walk in stab the boss once get gear and walk out no thank you. I'm only on the last phase of T12 and i need to pug it because iv got no permanent group to do it with its frustrating as hell but i don't want a major nerf.
