I find a trend that occurs with any MMORPG, and FFXIV is no different. The trend is that hard content gets released. Some people clear it, get bragging rights for clearing it (read: Blue Garter), and then as new content gets released, older hard content becomes gradually easier. "Nerfed" as you would say.

Honestly, I don't think the devs pay any attention when a handful of people say something is too hard. It's usually enough people where SE is like "Oh crap, we have to do something or we could lose a ton of players fast."

I say this as someone who has successfully acquired every single card from every single NPC in the game. Some of those NPCs are really hard and require a LOT of patience and time. Getting Odin from Landenel was especially difficult due to Random Rules with his card pool of, like, 7 vs my card pool of 62. It's not lazy to request that they be toned down a bit.

I think this whole thread represents a clear misunderstanding of how the whole nerfing content process works. It rarely has anything to do with a handful of vocal people saying things like "NERF THIS NOW OR I QUIT!". It more has to do with numbers--which the devs monitor--of how many people clear certain kinds of content. If the number is over projected estimates, they may make content more difficult. If the number is under projected estimates, they may make content easier. Though with SE's trend of content releases, they usually release content on the harder side of things.

Also, just as an aside, if your grammar looks like it comes from the fingers of a child failing fifth grade English, you really don't have much of a right to call anyone else lazy.
