I think another problem with this game is that it's not forgiving compared to ffxi, it is a game of absolutes with generally no chance to recover let alone win if people start dropping. So you have game mechanics that are absolute and you have some player attitudes that are absolute. By the way adding harder modes to existing dungeons is laziness by the developers imo. Recycled content... fun...not. I never enjoyed the Primals because of the absoluteness of the fights. What makes SE think I would enjoy even harder versions? Only one I have enjoyed at all was King Moogle.
