You're good at the game? You're an elitist.
You're using a parser to better yourself? Elitist.
You're making suggestions on how someone can improve themselves? E l i t i s t.
You wipe a farm party constantly but you're having fun playing your way. Nah you're fine dude.
This community astounds me at times.

Does your plan for protecting the game go any further than moaning on a forum no one important reads in a language the producer doesn't understand?

I'd argue that people that are hardcore will figure out a way to get through everything because that's how they play, but that doesn't mean something doesn't need fixed. Maybe not the best example but someone who does parkour might not notice if the stairs are broken because they always jump to the porch anyway, but it doesn't mean the stairs aren't broken.

The problem is like I said many times before (but some people ignore the facts) that lazy peoples instant reaction is "Nerf" to anything they can't complete or win in a few trys, and that is pathetic.
Fix Triple Triad? Sure good idea, fine by me, fix the MGP rewards, if the NPC is hard, let it give a bit more. But you people ask to Nerf 'em instead arent you?! That's the problem.

"Hard" and "Unfair" are not synonyms. The problem is like I said many times before (but some people ignore the facts) that lazy peoples instant reaction is "Nerf" to anything they can't complete or win in a few trys, and that is pathetic.

Random rule as used by NPCs is "unfair." Random rule as used by players vs. other players is "hard."
If RNG can overwrite skill, then it is not "hard," it is "unfair"
The reason these NPCs have such small pools is so that we can devise strategies to beat them. You can't devise a good strategy to beat NPCs with Random since you're just as likely to end up with a decent deck as you are with the starter deck.

I find a trend that occurs with any MMORPG, and FFXIV is no different. The trend is that hard content gets released. Some people clear it, get bragging rights for clearing it (read: Blue Garter), and then as new content gets released, older hard content becomes gradually easier. "Nerfed" as you would say.
Honestly, I don't think the devs pay any attention when a handful of people say something is too hard. It's usually enough people where SE is like "Oh crap, we have to do something or we could lose a ton of players fast."
I say this as someone who has successfully acquired every single card from every single NPC in the game. Some of those NPCs are really hard and require a LOT of patience and time. Getting Odin from Landenel was especially difficult due to Random Rules with his card pool of, like, 7 vs my card pool of 62. It's not lazy to request that they be toned down a bit.
I think this whole thread represents a clear misunderstanding of how the whole nerfing content process works. It rarely has anything to do with a handful of vocal people saying things like "NERF THIS NOW OR I QUIT!". It more has to do with numbers--which the devs monitor--of how many people clear certain kinds of content. If the number is over projected estimates, they may make content more difficult. If the number is under projected estimates, they may make content easier. Though with SE's trend of content releases, they usually release content on the harder side of things.
Also, just as an aside, if your grammar looks like it comes from the fingers of a child failing fifth grade English, you really don't have much of a right to call anyone else lazy.

I'd like to speak to this, I'm avg level i128 DRG and I haven't cleared T5 yet. Why? Not because I cannot clear the content, but because I took a break from the game and missed out on becoming part of a tight-knit group of players to static with, not because I'm not good (I tend to have the highest (#1 or #2) parser numbers in content I do with friends who have clearly all the coil content). But I lack the static, and yes there are players who are either 1) expecting a carry by having the bare minimum item level to access the content, which you will normally find in DF or 2) to alleviate this low item level problem elitists setup Party Finder parties but don't accept people without a clear already, so catch-22.
It's not just those "stupid" low item level players as you describe them, but its also those elitist mindset players that also hurt the game, honestly I would say more-so than newer low item level players do.

Considering I am reading so many players who dont have a group at this moment in time, how is that you guys havent banded together to form a group?
There seems to be a huge amount of players in the same scenario, I wonder what the problem is, there is no catch 22, start to learn to become a raid leader, the biggest asset to any group isnt a tank or healer, its a dedicated raid leader with a plan.
