What should I do when the second set of meteors drops using the stop and go tatic?
I always wipe if drops to meteors on me? I just can't figure where to drop the second meteor on me.

This is how we handle it;
-There are 3 inner circles, there are a total of 8 people on the raid.
-We split the raid inside the 3 circles prior to the meteor drops, meaning there's 3ppl in two circles and 2ppl in one circle.
-When you get the marker, you move out and place the meteor outside as usual->always be prepared to place 2 or more meteors though, so the spot next to you should be empty. If you get no second marker, just dribble back to your circle and keep an eye out where the meteors are being placed.
-In-between meteor drops healers do Medica and Succor, no problems there.
If you want more organization, you can place healers, dps and tanks in specific circles, but that shouldn't be necessary. Just make sure there's no more than 3 people in each circle. If one circle seems to be getting a lot of meteors, feel free to move to a side with less meteor drops. That shouldn't happen very often though, and it's not a problem as long as you see it coming.
Of course, there's multiple ways of dealing with the meteors, but we've found this by far the easiest and most reliable. The sprinting tactic is good as well, but it may be harder to manage due to latency and brain lag issues.
Good luck with your efforts, hope you guys clear T9 soon.![]()
Our static stubbornly kept trying to do the stack and run method in the face of latency or whatever but it just wasn't consistent enough. The method Shannon Dawn posted is pretty much fool-proof, I strongly recommend it.
it may take your team a few tries to get it the above mentioned method down, but it is the most reliable that my static has tried,
it also seems to be the most common method in df / pf,
strange awareness of ghosts that no longer haunt this shell.
Most people use the 3, 3, 2 method. If you are standing near the point of impact of the meteor, you should be able to see a rapidly expanding circle AoE radial (i.e. red circle on floor) and the very edge outside of the point where the radial stopped is where you can place it safely, without causing debris burst. You typically want to drop them around the edge of the boss arena, along where the 1-shot wall is (close to it, but not in it obviously). Picture a clock in your head, like the kind you see in school or at an office. Each hour and the distance between each of them is about the distance you can drop meteors if you envision that setup on the boss area of T9. When placing the green meteor icons, just drop them wherever you want, because there really is no "right or wrong" way to place them. Just make sure the distance apart is proper and you're set, but you can drop them inside those 3 tiny circles within the big circle on the floor of the boss area too, if you wanted.
That can work, but must not work. It is possible, we had it a couple of times, that 2 ppl get all 6 meteors. There is a rule what meteors you can get. If you have a mark, you can't get the next meteor. Example: If you have mark 1, next you can get is mark 3.
So in worst case, player one get 1, 3, 5 and player two get 2, 4, 6.
As I wrote above, we had this a couple of times.
We had tried different tactics to handle this and the "zigzag" worked in every situation as it meets the rules you can get meteors.

^well if that happens with all 6 in one group, the area the other groups are standing in will be clear, so you can just keep going around the edge. Very rare scenario but still foolproof if you can identify it happening. If you get 5 in your group and the next spot is taken by another group just move slightly inwards of where the 4th was placed.
well you don't want them to drop on you.
What I do is we all just spread out no assigned spots just no one on top of one another and move as we see people with the meteors coming toward us. And we put them right on the edge of the arena.
My static was most comfy with the "noob method" spread out and adjust where needed, for farms 3 group method seems best (if noone puts total senseles markings up). Never seen racecar method work but I personally and some in my static suffer general lag so dunno... :/

We did:
Fool-proof, easy, always applicable. Works everytime in every possible combination. (Place the meteors on the little triangles in the inner ring)
