PLD - Looking for end game focused Free Company (Or Linkshell) (Longterm)

Hello my name is "Tiktaks" and I just returned about 3 weeks ago to Final Fantasy XIV. I quit FFXIV around the time people started mass wiping to Turn 5 in Coil because the "Twisters" were bugged and were pretty much impossible to manage correctly. Before that point I was doing Coil with a pretty laid back group of people, but due to circumstances that were out of my control the group fell apart and I took my leave from the game.

I am also the current leader of the official "Reddit" Linkshell of Final Fantasy XI, which is the largest community in all of FFXI at this time. We are well over 700 members strong and continue to grow everyday. I have played FFXI for 10+ years and in terms of gameplay just completely burned out. I am 110% focused on Final Fantasy XIV and all of the current content, as well as all future content.

Past raiding experiences:

Have raided in World of Warcraft since Vanilla. I have raided the original 40m Naxx, everything in Burning Crusade, as well as Wrath of the Lich King. I lost a lot of motivation after Wrath of the Lich King and moved on to other games.

I have 4 server firsts in DC Universe Online at the release of that game for the first few content patches. That game plays extremely different, but thought I should mention it as I try my hardest to be the best I can be in every game I play.

As I mentioned above I have done everything there is to do in FFXI, as well as even today's content. In Final Fantasy XIV I just returned and finally played some catch up. I have been getting gear at a pretty decent pace and looking to finish my relic up asap, especially with the new update coming out soon.

My gear/progression isn't up to par currently, but I do not have an active group to jump into currently and Lamia is a very casual/low pop server. Lamia has only 3-4 groups on the server that has seen T13 and they are very closed off in general.

I got my turn 5 kill recently as well. (Though not impressive anymore) After all that time of doing that fight with the twisters bugged, as well as seeing the battlefield look a bit different, I am heavily interested in progressing through second coil and into final coil.

What I can bring to a group:

-And extremely positive mindset. I care heavily about communities and free companies/guilds/linkshells and how they are looked at by everyone. I am not someone to rage or bring drama into a group and promote helping others in their free time.

-Dedication. I am willing to stay long term if an already established group/free company. I can play/raid up to 12 hours~ per day if that is what I need to do for progression. Pushing content in a speedy fashion is a huge priority for some groups, especially with the release of an expansion/patch. I have zero problems in doing this.

-Skill/Feedback. I should be expected to be able to adapt to any situation, have a mastery of my respective job (PLD) and an ability to learn from mistakes while communicating with others. I am not someone to bring a "god complex" to a group and refuse to change my style of play.

Final Notes:

I am currently on the "Lamia" server, but I can transfer as soon as possible if that is needed. (Even tonight would be fine) I prefer to talk to people in skype/teamspeak/mumble/vent/raidcall before anything happens.

Hi, read your post if your interested my FC Odyssey is looking for a tank for our static. You seem like the type of player we are looking for. We are in a similar situation as you returning to the game recently. We transferred from hyperion after quitting when 2.2 hit. We had all previous content on farm for months so we are skilled group of players that are trying to catch up like you. Right now we have 5/8 or our old core back but are in need of a tank, caster dps, and melee dps. Our goal at the moment is to clear second coil for those who need T9 and then move into final coil asap.

As for the future the plan is to get 1 solid static group going for raiding then expand from there going into heavensward adding more people/groups. We are a semi-hardcore FC that takes progression seriously but have fun while doing it.

Our FC is right in the same boat as you returning to the game and transferring here to start up again on a new home. We are all experienced mmo vets like yourself with plenty of raiding experience across many games. We had all the content prior to 2.2 on farm before we left the game and want to build a similar setting in preparation for heavensward. I've read your post and think that in spite of your progression, your perceived attitude towards content and I assume FC are the same.
