Predetermined names for Racing chocobos????

Its like how they did it in XI, which I remember there being quite a diverse list of words to combine from there. I'd say its to avoid racist/rude names, which may well be a reason, but then we also get freedom in choosing our company chocobo's name so that doesnt make much sense.

Unless it's BECAUSE we had freedom with the company chocobo, so many terrible and disgusting names, they decided we aren't mature enough to choose our own names anymore ._.

Yeah, this sounds very much like what they did in XI which disappoints me even though I can kinda see where they're probably coming from. I just hope they give us a more varied list than what we had in xi.

I'm not the least bit surprised. In XI they did something not unlike this, I was more surprised they hadn't done it with the Company chocobo. And yes, it probably is to avoid potentially questionable names given chocobo racing is going to be very public if XI's chocobo racing is going to be any clue.

I'd actually be quite happy with this. I was dreading having to come up with tons of different names for chocobos.
