Really, Zumi, Relics should be a second, more casual path of progression for people who don't want to raid. But they're not. SE has proven time and time again that they don't know how to handle casual players on the high-end (Relic sucks, requires massive amounts of gil and tremendous time sinks, crafted items suck, require massive amounts of gil and tremendous time sinks). There really isn't any way for a non-raider to get high-end gear (which, admittedly, even the highest-tier casual gear should be second to raid gear in power), as even the non-raid gear either requires materials from raids in order to craft it (lolwtf) or insane amounts of gil and time. This really needs to be rectified, but I don't ever see SE figuring it out.You know the sad part. SE takes so long to come out with the relic upgrades, I already got dreadwyrm sword and shield even with the coil RNG I got both drops. Well I already got a 135 weapon because relics came out way too late to be used in progression.
Anyone one else disappointed? So many people already have their dreadwyrm weapon so the 135 relics should of came out much sooner.
Personally I would of liked to get some use using fully upgraded weapon when we were progressing thru final coil, now its just go in for an hour and clear it.

So what you're saying is that you need to put some work into obtaining high tier gear and this is somehow bad.Really, Zumi, Relics should be a second, more casual path of progression for people who don't want to raid. If SquareEnix thinks I'm going to waste my time with the dumb Animus to Nexus book (Alexandrite) they're kidding themselvesI have a life.

I hope this next step involves a trial, as well as a really difficult solo battle. I don't care what else it has as long as it has those two. I think it would be cool if you needed items that can only be crafted with materials dropped from the first two coils and extreme primals. That way people who hate hard fights can buy the materials off the market board and for those of us who love difficult fight we get to have fun doing these
where dem patch notes!?
