    Unable to Complete Version Check [30605][20448][10009][10019]

    OK so I know this has already been posted about quite a bit. I have scoured these forums for a solution to this and have tried everything I have found, but to no avail.
    Things I have tried:
    • going to My Documents/My Games/FFXIV A Realm Reborn/FFXIV_BOOT.cfg and changing the B4EulaAgreement field and the BootVersionCheckMode field to 1
    • Changing the security to all related files to give my user full control
    • Going to sharing -> advanced sharing and giving my user full control for that as well
    • Changing all files to NOT read only, running as admin, running in compatibility mode
    The problem seems to have arisen after a windows update, but nothing else on my hard drive is affected. I checked with a friend to make sure my ffxivboot.ver was correct and it was, being 2015.01.09.0000.0001. I also have the game installed through steam, if that somehow makes a difference. I have pretty much given up, seeing as how there are no more solutions posted about this anywhere online. I'm looking for any help or any ideas that I have not previously mentioned because as far as I'm concerned, this is completely hopeless.


    EDIT: I managed to fix the boot error somehow.
    Now the problem is that when I hit play, I get an error message stating that a fatal DirectX error has occured(300000011)
    I have made sure that all of my graphic drivers are updated, and have uninstalled/reinstalled DirectX to no avail.
    I just wanna play the game

    I'm curious on how you managed to fix it, my friend is having an issue with it as well, and since he's bought a month and hasn't been able to get in all week I can see how it's getting frustrating.
