Remember all those threads of people whining about not getting loot and others saying "go roll as the required class if you want loot that badly?"

....Well guess what people are doing for those mounts? I bet even PvP has had a surge of "bad" players due to everyone wanting that ADS mount.

It's almost a necessary evil; without those mounts or other incentives to keep people playing old content or getting people to try new classes, those queue times would be measured in years, not minutes.
Yup. pretty much exactly what I stated on the last page.

In all honesty, I wish that these mounts were in the Mog store. That way people have options - either earn them or buy them. If I saw my unicorn in the Mog station (did I mention before what a stupid looking mount that is?) and people started buying it and riding it, I would not be hurt. So what? I'd rather that play go buy the mount than make the rest of our party suffer because they want it badly enough to play a class they suck at to get it.

The only time I ever say "no" to mounts being available in the cash shop is if they are symbols of special cases, such as preorder mounts, etc that we pay extra for preorder for. I play another MMO that pissed a lot of people off because they started selling all of the preorder stuff in the cash shop, and then they wondered why no one preordered their expansion. LOL.

But yeah, putting these mounts up in the Mog station would alleviate SOME of the issues, but most of this issue still stems from "I don't want to wait for queue so I am going to troll people who actually care about being a team by queuing up with them." Anyone who does that really is a troll, and if I am ever a party leader of a party and I catch on to that . . . auto-kick. And we should not be afraid to vote kick people who show the obvious signs of "I'm here because of reasons other than to play my class". This especially goes for healers who think they are DPS. Those drive me nuts.
