Putting aside all the venomous replies to a question that was poorly structured (and apologized for), I say even at this time BLM stands as my favorite.
I feel Gunner could push that off the throne, but I'll wait to play it first.

I would go for Monk. They're my second favourite job in the game! If we're including the new jobs, it would be either the Astrologian or Machinist. They look pretty interesting!
Fixed it below.. I think?
Just want to have some fun with the topic. Let's say that all of your classes were reverted back to level one except your main class. You still had access to the cross class skills you have already unlocked. Now, you are given a magical potion to make one class instantly capped at level 50 (any class; crafter and gatherer included). You can only use this once. Which class would you pick and why?

This would actually be tough. I mean because I love BLM I would have no problem leveling it again although it is rather boring until you finally are able to stack three of whatever element. PUG is probably the most fun early on because at least you can rotate your attacks and the movement makes it feel less stale than other jobs. Maybe ACN since that class was pretty blah. Even when I unlocked SCH I still never healed anything. Most early dungeons were just "let selene/eos do all the work and stay in cleric the whole time".
Yeah probably ACN or CNJ. Those were pretty lame early on. I could deal with leveling my other 50's.

How i understand it, you would have first all classes at 50 before you can reset all classes except of 2 back to lv 1interesting question but the problem with boosting to 50 is that you don't know what any of your skills do. 1-50 is where you're supposed to learn your class. Healers learn how to conserve mana and heal properly, tanks learn how to tank, and with luck dps learn how restrain themselves.
I would keep PGL, because i like it and would boost GLA, because i don't like it and the other classes are back to 50 in short time anyway.

It is easy, but the option to avoid DPS queues would be pretty sweet. I spent quite a bit of time waiting on Qarn & Cutter's queues recently when I was leveling monk. lol
I'd probably level BLM. My first character was BLM, so the job isn't completely foreign to me.

Dragoon is horrible to level up(IMPULSEDRIVEIMPULSEDRIVEIMPULSEDRIVE), but it's one of my favorite classes at 50. My main is scholar and my secondary switches between dragoon and warrior. Love how dragoons are so mobile in fights. All the jumps make them very fun to play, not to mention their great DPS ability.
