Master List of Changes we still need

Dude, Tanaka wasn't fired...he was moved back to FFXI due internal pressure you know. Someone HAD to pay for the terrible release...and as producer it was part of his duty to take responsability for this...even if the forced release of an incomplete game was also due the very same internal pressure. To haste the game release in like 6 months (by how it was i bet the original release date would be arond march of this year instead of septemper/2010) they actually lost like 1 year of subscriptions and might be losing another year still since will take time for the new FFXIV to become acceptable.

And yep i am forcing myself to play it...at least for me 50 bucks is a decent amount of money to go to a waste...and since i bought it i also have the right to complain about it here...and if you think complaining won't get me anywhere then its because you have no idea what you're talking about...my "complaints" already got dozen of positive changes in this game and many others already listed at last letter to happen. ^^

Also, not all games need the very same funcionalities...think its cool PW using the very same core system in every MMO? Nop, its not...it might be good for players from older games that already know the functionalities, but for the game itself its bad...it depreciates the uniqueness of the game...but it will be only really noticeable later on, when people start calling it FFXI-clone just like they already do with Rift, calling it WoW-clone. Rift has no identity...and i do am afraid FFXIV might end exactly like it.

And on a side note: Tanaka is a genius. He does is one of the great minds of SE and people should respect it. You just can't expect a playerbase of a bunch of 12~18 years-old people, with most of them having from low to no experience in the area, fully understand what he had in mind when the game was released...specially since he actually had the chance of doing just 1 version update before being moved from producer position.

I tried to fix the list based on the suggestions of others if anyone wants to take a stab at organizing it better or helping I would encourage them to do so and I'll repost the revised copy.

With the quality of the stuffing he has inside his head he can put a ring on me wherever he wants! =P the easiest way to get empathy from me is the person showing he knows how to use his brain...and this he does know how to do very well! ^^

I couldn't agree with this list more. These issues would make for a much more enjoyable and FUN game.

Key items here that suck the enjoyment out of the game for me are:

Guildleve Reset Timers- Please, I'm begging you, if you're listening SE just remove the limit and let us do as many as we want. This would be so much more fun.

Gear Repair- I can appreciate the need to make a demand for crafters but this is not the way to do this.

Anima Regeneration- Argh, you guys are so frugal with replenishing points. How about an item that gives us a free teleport per day at least.

Party Search Functions- This is a Massively Multiplayer Online Game yet I have no way of finding a party. Why isn't this on the TOP of your list. Instead we get bikinis?!

Please, with all do respect, I love this game, but these simple changes would make so many players return and existing players have more FUN. This is a game after all.

To OP: There are so many things on this list that have been mentioned by others on this forum. I really don't think you need to make a list for the community or for the community reps because they have read it and passed it on before your posting. Yet also, there are many things on your list that already exist, have been already fixed, or already mentioned fixes in forthcoming updates.

I think instead of wasting the community reps' time (and your own) and giving the creatives behind FFXIV such a hard time, maybe you should consider doing your research before writing up an enraged list. :D

That all aside, I agree with Lienn the most here. I would like to play FFXIV, not FFXI. To me there is a big difference between the word 'fun' and 'easy'.

PanTone what things on my list have already been fixed please let me know and I'll correct it. The entire point behind this is a have a correct and updated list of all the suggestions and feedback players have. We are a year in we need to look ahead at years 2 and 3 now.
