Getting Seals for new crafting wepons

So i finally completed all the supras and master book II's. Have max-melded gear and successfully HQ'ing 4 star crafts. I am now ready for the grind to get the new main hands on all my classes.

What stat did you find that worked best for you for getting seals for the lens'?

First of all, you don't need GC seals to get the items. You can get Moonstones from the Ixali Deliverance quest (1x per day), and from certain treasure maps. You can get the other items from the level 45 leves from St. Coinach's Find (3x per leve). Seals are just the short-cut, especially for moonstones, but the other items really are pretty easy to get from leve-spamming. Also, the leves are far, far cheaper than the turnins. Imagine getting 1,800 GC Seals from 1x Hunting Moccasins, or from 1x Cobalt Plate - great deal, right?

For the Moonstones, since one per day is super slow, I personally use Madman's Whispering Rods. They don't have to be NQ, so I can gather 25x of the mats in a single in-game day on my BTN (Trillium Bulb, Vampire Plant, Thavnarian Mistletoe), do 50 crafts with my "Ingenuity II, CS2, CS2" macro (you have to craft Growth Formula Deltas, a 1* mat, as an intermediary), and then turn them in for 15,825 GC Seals. That's nearly four moonstones. 5-6 runs and you get a Lucis, and you can do the leves in St. Coinach's while gathering the materials (gather 127x of each item over the course of ~7 hours while doing all the leves forever, then craft and turn them in all at once while watching TV). Eight hours is a short grind for what's basically the crafter version of a relic.

For the gatherer classes, the real time-grind is in the gathering of the HQ items, so the above gives you plenty to do while waiting for node/fish windows to open. The best MIN/BTN rotation yields 2.2 HQ per node, so 99 HQ will take you ~45 in-game days to do, which is ~54 RL hours if you do it all at once. I average 1 HQ gigant clam per fish window, which makes it only ~30 in-game days (~36 RL hours), but you have to spend significantly more time at the fishing hole than you do at a node. So, the above time-grind is nothing.

Depending on server prices, any ilvl 55 green item (usually militia) will give 633 GC seals (without the 5% FC buff). I would check MB prices on some of the items to work out what's cheapest, or you can gather all the materials yourself. In addition to this, if you can do gathering, do the GC supply quest which every day asks for 10x mined items, 10x harvested or 3x fish (hq always gives double the seals). You can also do your Guildhest roulette, this only gives about 350 seals, but takes 5 minutes to do.

im using militia choker for seals.

yes i hunt for the raptor sinew and the hippo skins.

militia choker by far is the easiest one to make, uses a low amount of materials and crystals as well.

the mats will seem expensive right now on mb I'm sure due to the inflation from people buying them to craft for seals though, but are easily gathered if you have the time.

personally I made leatherworkers hats because raptor sinew went up to 5k each. I think I made around 1600 in all over the course of a few days, I bought all my mats too cus they were so cheap when I did it, first 48hrs after patch. id say I spent no more than 1mil gil to get all the mats for the turn ins. then I spent about another 500k on clusters cus you need quite a few to make all those trade in mats to get the lucis itself.

fisher is the only one I don't have right now and that's only because im a few seals short, have the clams but I just cant bring myself to make more leatherworkers hats or militia chokers.

Militia chockers or duckboots. 633 seals. Hippoigryphs "lives" in Dzemael Drakonhold 1st room or in Mordona. Other materials has good drop rates and can be obtained manually vwthout marketboard too.

(Note: only non-white items can be turned in (ie: "green" crafted items). None of these can be quick-synthed.)

My advice above is for when all of the i55 item materials are incredibly expensive, as they are on my server. Last I checked, making a Militia Choker, for instance, cost 10k in materials (4k for the raptor sinew, 6k for the hippo leather). 10k for 633 seals is prohibitively expensive for some - that's 1.26 million for just the 20 moonstones. But, if you're swimming in money, that's a good path to take.

I went with Militia choker, I farmed hippo skin and raptor sinew, I did buy black alumen and the crystals that were needed to craft it, it took me about a week to farm everything that was needed for 8 Lucis. if i remember correctly, I spent about 3 mils for 8 Lucis.
