    Job Class Suggestions

    Hi There i have 3 Job Class i think that should Join FF14 and 2 of them Come of the New Gun Class that is Coming out in Spring 2015. I have Post the other 2 Class because of 1000 Characters Long Here 1 of them

    Gun Mage
    This Class Will be DPS Very Easy to tell, The Gun Mage is quite weak in all areas except Magic. Fiend Hunter abilities, which deal quadruple damage to specific fiend types, are where she really shines. Gun Mages also have the Blue Bullet skill, which works like traditional Blue Magic, in that the character learns the enemy ability by having it performed on them and surviving the battle.

    The 2nd Job Class and 3rd

    Alchemist
    This Class will be Healer Class From the New Gun Class it Opens ups another Healer Class for Game so i thought it be Very Helpful . Alchemists can use several items from a limitless Stash and Mix items together to make stronger items, an ability that is functionally identical to Rikku's Overdrive from Final Fantasy X. The Alchemist's most useful abilities include Mega-Potion, Elixir, Phoenix Down, Mix, Chemist, Elementalist, and Items Level Ups.

    Samurai
    It Seem This Class will be Better as DPS But i want have Tank Class But I do want This Class in It Because we got Ninja xP. The Samurai has high Strength and is useful for dispatching large groups of enemies with abilities like Fireworks and Zantetsu. It also has the useful ability Clean Slate, which heals the user and removes harmful status effects.

    Firstly, you can bypass the 1000 character limit by simply typing and posting a few lines, then going back and editing in the rest of your post (like I'm going to do - more coming)

    Secondly, your Job ideas:

    Gun Mage - although Blue Mage itself would be useful, I really don't see what sets this particular Job from being just yet another generic mage user other than they happen to use a gun. And given the fact we're not only already getting a gun-using Job (Machinist), there is also still the long promised and dummied-out class Musketeer waiting to one day be added (it's Guild and class icon has long been in the game in Limsa Lominsa), it makes such a mage Job virtually pointless. That doesn't mean Blue Magic itself couldn't be added though, as it's possible. But that's a whole different barrel of moogles.

    Alchemist - uh, you do realize Alchemist is already in the game? It's a Disciple of the Hand though which makes potions rather than act as a healer. A Chemist-type healing class though could definitely fit into the game. It just couldn't be called 'Alchemist'.

    Samurai - given the connection to the fallen Far Eastern citystate of Doma to the storyline now, it's pretty much guaranteed that Samurai will someday be added. No doubt SE are just waiting to see how the new Jobs work in relation to the existing Armoury System before they consider new Job possibilities like SAM. But you can be sure that they will add it eventually some day.

    I'd like to see all of the classic FF jobs make it in to XIV, and I'm sure that someday most will be in game, you just have to be patient.

    Chemist: This would be a nice addition to the healer pool or even if they ever include support roles/5-6man parties/blahblahblah. Maybe the Chemist's use of potions would be party wide and double or triple power with low CD's. It might actually make Alchemist relevant with so many worthless pots now in game. Then having to buy or make all of those pots to be useful in groups? probably not going be based off of items use, perhaps they have their own backpack set of unlimited pots they could use.

    Samurai as a tank... they use heavy armor, why not?

    I see your Gun Mage as a Blue Mage with a gun, not a bad thing.

    Back when they were hinting at a gun job, my imagination grasped at straws in hopes that Red Mage would make it in and thought; Maybe it's a Red Mage that can dual wield rapier and a pistol, and a nearly shat myself with excitement. Unfortunately I was wrong (or maybe fortunately for my shorts) but I have nothing against SE putting a new spin on classic jobs.

    LOL, someone must be a major X-2 fan to want a Gun Mage. Not a bad idea though but maybe that could be the Muskateer, if they ever impliment it. I Need to get the 4 jobs I worked hard to create up so that everyone can view them: Red Mage, Dancer, Salve-Maker, and Geomancer. If you like the idea of a Gun Mage you could do what I did and actually create a mock version. But make sure it can fit into this worlds lore; a direct copy from X-2 wont work. I hope to have my examples up soon so you can see what I mean.

    I wouldn't mind a cool new take on Red Mage making them another sword user (melee DPS) with magical combos (yeah like nin mudras) but more flashy/stylish. I love the idea of swords skills and magic. There's already another sword user job coming and tank again. :/ NUUUU

    Well the Red Mage I made uses Rapiers and has an equal amount of magic and sword moves, I have them set up to act as a Tank but they could fall into a DPS category too. I showed the ideas to a friend and they said they all seemed very solid, so that made me happy. But yeah once I figure out the formating you'll be able to drqw your own conclusions.

    Could be like stiener + vivi in ff9 where you enhance your sword with magic to do certain damage or ailments, it would keep the main point of red mage but be a fresh take on it

    Well this is sorta how I set up the Red Mage I designe, though not entirely since, what you described is more of a Rune Knight/Mystic Knight/ Spell Fencer, but I did give them an ability to add magic to their attacks. Lol, again I hope to have the classes up soon for review.
