Exclusive Lunar event only for Chinese server

I heard they don't get the full Gold Saucer like we do because of China's strict gambling laws. They can have a panda, then.

Oh is that why? Well I can understand then but I still think it's unfair they get an exclusive event its their governments problem why they can't get certen stuff I still say we should be able to do the event.

I'm okay with having Gold Saucer and not the stuffed panda... o.O We had a similar thread when the reskinned behemoth mount was created for the CN game. At that time too, we were happier having Gold Saucer.

It's wishful desire on my part wanting a panda minion. I'd be just happy having it in the Cash Shop considering all the restrictions the Chinese servers have in terms of their content.

I celebrate the Lunar New Year, would have liked SE to do an event for that. Not the end of the world of course, but if they have the resources already I guess I don't necessarily see why they wouldn't have it on all servers. It's not like we have to trade "Golden Saucer" for "A one off event" seems like a false choice argument xD (not that people are arguing it, just seems like "both, both is good" would be better! lol).

The New Year event we had earlier is sort of related, but wrong celebration date lol. Again, not the end - but it would have been nice to have the game mimic the real world event I like, just as other events in FFXIV.
