I agree with you. And in the case of the bunny suit... That particular design might not look good on men in some people's eyes, but they've already shown they can make the same gear look different on men and women (Evenstar Tights, Foestriker/Infantry skirts, Eerie Tights, DRG relic chest, NIN relic gear... The list goes on), so they could have prepared an alternative. And I know, that might be a bit too much to ask now, when the designs are already finalized and designers would have to return to the drawing board to come up with a male version of the outfit. It's just... Why? This tends to happen again and again >.< And each time it's equally disappointing. And here I thought the inclusion of the plain skirt (unisex) was a sign from them that they'd stop doing this to us =/ Should have known better, no?

(Though they could, theoretically, tell us that they're working on making a male version of it and it'll be available in a later patch, either by making the current unisex and adding the new graphics under the 'male' tab, or by making a separate gearset. I'd be happy with either of those, though I'd prefer the unisex version -- less gear to clutter my retainers XD)

These all tend to be more aimed at females, but it's possible for males to equip them as well = Gender Inequality, my fluffy tail.
Another example would be the 'Paine' hairstyle, available for both male and female = Gender Inequality, my fluffy tail.
With so much available to both genders, I'd hardly say SE favors one gender over the other. Besides, if the Setzer outfit is locked to male characters only, I openly welcome the Bunny Suit as a female exclusive.
1 - yes, and I love them for that.
2 - Healer and Caster only. (Interestingly, the skirt is shorter on women than on men...)

Two items (three if you count caster/healer skirts separately) don't make for instant gender equality when you have far more cases where there's an inequality.
Nor does one hairstyle, though it (together with the plain skirt), could be an indication of more unisex hairstyles, which would be a good thing.

Setzer outfit has been outed as unisex. Lookie here!
