Yes, we could make the same argument for the females who want to wear best man's jacket and the sailor outfit, and they can! Because it was deemed that it looked good enough on them. So while it was designed for males, it was made available to females as well because "it looks good". You may think a Roegadyn Male Bunny would be cause to bleach your eyes; I think it'd be cause to laugh, because it'd probably look patently ridiculous. And I, for one, want to be granted the opportunity to be patently ridiculous. Right now, that's being denied for arbitrary reasons.
I have to agree with this comment, when Yoshida said that the Setzer outfit was going to be male only, alot of players with female characters came and complained about this issue (which I agree with them, since I find that everyone should enjoy the outfits that the developers create). But when player with a male character asks for the same thing, its a big problem? I dont get it?
Lets stop this inequality, if you are not comfortable with how another player is dressing up his/her own character, then you have a bigger issue to deal with.
EDIT: Just saw the post with the picture that shows Setzer is also for female character. It seems female characters will get two outfits and male only one. I am glad that the female characters got the outfit, but wow.... males got screwed again.

I'm sorry you have some weird mental hangup that makes what should be a mundane event so traumatizing for you. That doesn't justify inequality, though.
So people who plays female characters have the right to complain all they want because they maybe couldn't get only one of the male outfit, but when people who plays male characters wants to have the same amount of glamour, it's to not be taken seriously? If I'm not mistaking this is going to be the third glamour ( more if you count hats and shoes) that is inaccessible to male characters while females have no such restrictions.
To me on this one it's not about crossdressing or skirts or gayz or rainbows that everyone is so afraid of. Just give all genders the same amount of gear, what is so complicated about that? There are no such things happening with races so why gender? This is becoming just dumb favoritism without any reason.
I don't want the same as the female bunny outfit, people wouldn't survive that because eww male skin, so just make an alternate for male just like so many other outfit have. Hell just give me the bunny ears and I'll make my own version.
Edit
It doesn't but that's not a reason that the entire player base doesn't have the right to do it if they want to.
I personally don't enjoy seeing barely dressed female miqote, yet I saw three just yesterday. If you don't like it you can just not zoom in and walk away or others.
Yes let's sexualize women as much as we want but they better not dare and try to show men as sexual being in a video game, that'd be too hardcore for us, it's reserved to female. Not like chipendale and male strippers in general exist in the real world anyway.

Does it make me an asshole that I rather not see men in bunny outfits, or other rather... distorted attire?
I dont understand why Yoshi-P and the developers are doing this? Why not give the males their own version of the bunny outfit. Its pretty obvious that team favours female characters and personaly this makes me feel like that the male avatars will never get the same amount of attention that the female avatars have.
Square Enix, make all the outfits uni-sex or give both genders their own version. If you are to lazy to create new outfits for both genders, then dont create them for only one gender. Here is a simple example of the male bunny outfit. It gives the males their own spin to the bunny outfit, while letting the female have their own version. I dont understand why they are doing this?

I am fine with gender specific outfits. I like dressing up my female miqote in girly looking outfits and dresses. I don't mind male characters get exclusive stuff too.
Why is it always the male Lalafell that want to cross dress? Eugh.
