Nah, the people opposing the "Males in drag" idea is limited purely to the backwards peeps. Or males wondering around in female characters.

Most actual women who play women characters could care less. We would actually WANT you to have a skirt if you want to wear it. You wanna just wear the bunny ears? Go for it. You wanna wear the whole thing? Go for it. I'm not gonna sit here and tell anyone it's weird to see blah blah blah just because it's not the society's idea of normal.

People who are opposed to men wearing whatever they want (even if it's the spring dress) need to go back to the dark ages where they belong.

And Zakka has the truth of it, there's not enough people to rally to your cause against the devs who are against the idea of drag because of their own cultural understanding of it.

It's annoying to me that so many options are locked out to me because of my race and gender. I don't care so much about the racial clothes since every race has something unique. But EVERY single patch has clothes that were designed for men and then made unisex, and then the women get to keep their clothes with men being SOL. I know people think it's needless whining, but it really is annoying. We don't want the exact same thing, we just want what the women wanted when we thought Seltzer was gender locked: an equivalent. We don't need the bunny outfit that women have, but at least give us a Chippendale style bunny outfit! It's getting annoying that because I'm a guy I have fewer glamour options. I'm also a mage, so that kills a lot of my options as well :/

If you want to wear makeup and skirts/dresses, you can always use a fantasia to play a female character as they were designed to be used by.

Skirts and makeup have historically been used by men plenty. Besides, its not about wearing skirts, it's just wanting better equivalence in glamour gear.

Yes, we could make the same argument for the females who want to wear best man's jacket and the sailor outfit, and they can! Because it was deemed that it looked good enough on them. So while it was designed for males, it was made available to females as well because "it looks good". You may think a Roegadyn Male Bunny would be cause to bleach your eyes; I think it'd be cause to laugh, because it'd probably look patently ridiculous. And I, for one, want to be granted the opportunity to be patently ridiculous. Right now, that's being denied for arbitrary reasons.

OP, draw a picture of a male playboy bunny and show it to the FFXIV team. Then we might get male bunny outfits .

I seem to remember a lot of female characters bitching when it was thought that the Setzer outfit would be male only. So yes, stop the sexism and make all outfits unisex.

I have to agree with this comment, when Yoshida said that the Setzer outfit was going to be male only, alot of players with female characters came and complained about this issue (which I agree with them, since I find that everyone should enjoy the outfits that the developers create). But when player with a male character asks for the same thing, its a big problem? I dont get it?

Lets stop this inequality, if you are not comfortable with how another player is dressing up his/her own character, then you have a bigger issue to deal with.

EDIT: Just saw the post with the picture that shows Setzer is also for female character. It seems female characters will get two outfits and male only one. I am glad that the female characters got the outfit, but wow.... males got screwed again.

No thanks. It's not even about sexism and more like people on this forum crying when things don't please them as usual. It would just look stupid to have male wear the bunny GIRL outfit because they aren't designed for unisex (showing off curves when males have no curves). They might as well make a different costume for male if they want to make it equal.
