PS3 Release

Most of you guys don't know what your talking about. The longer they wait for PS3 release, the more this game is going to be a after thought. Besides the few people on the forum, I don't know anyone with a PS3 looking forward to the PS3 release of this game. People have moved on and are no longer waiting for this game. Sure they will get a few people when/if they ever release the PS3 version. But its not going to be like the mases they could have had if they released this game the same time they did PC release!

More importantly, there are at least a million (Yes a million) people who buy FF games but dont read forums and such... of the 4.5 million people who bought XIII on Ps3... And then everyone else is gonna wanna see what all the hate is about... people love a good train wreck... with this game only shipping half a million copies, even with bad press.. demand is still there...
I dont really believe reviewers when I want to try a game, I just try it...
Everyone's tastes are different...
Also... I guarantee FAMITSU will single handed save the PS3 launch....
Famitsu never reviewed the title because it is a PC game and they are console based... so when it comes out on PS3, Famitsu will give it a retarded high score (Try to argue that and you are just being silly) and then other media outlets will re-review it following Famitsu's lead and there you have it... BUZZ
Im not being a fanboy trying to defend the game though
I'm just saying that the game will still sell once the PS3 version is released
The game's success still depends on how good the game is by the time the PS3 is released
If its just a couple updates better than now, then it really will be an uphill(if not losing) battle...
But if the game is a shining epic masterpiece come PS3 launch then yea, the game still does well... my point is, its not over until Queen Brahne sings

Actually this chart tends to disagree with you. Somehow many PS3 users were somewhat unscathed by the PC reviews. Patience is absolutely the best road, and it's easy to hype up a Final Fantasy title.

In 1 or 2 patches the game still won't be where it should have been at the PC release. This game won't be ready for PS3 for at least 5 or 6 more updates. (not counting the "a" updates)

PS3 release is at least a year away if they want a smooth, well reviewed release. This game has hundreds of things to work out still and I HOPE that SE has learned not to ship unfinished products now. Learn from Blizzard.. polish it before you show it to someone.

I can wait that or even more if needed but as i said before we need some news directly from the producers cus we are talking to the air, i want to know if i have to wait 6 months or a year or wathever it needs but with true dates, pleease give us some news SE we deserve at least that.

Take as much time as you need to make the game awesome SE. The PC release was completely botched, but this is a rare opportunity that almost no other MMO gets, a second launch. With the first expansion included, it can really give the game a second wind and turn opinion around about it.

What they definitely shouldn't do is rush it out before the game is polished. That's what happened with the PC launch, and well, this game has showed up on more than one "biggest disappointments of 2010" list because of it. When the game is well balanced, fun, full of content and polished, that's when the PS3 launch will create a new big player on the MMO scene if all goes well.

Wow, there arent as much comments in this post as i thought it would, but the 1000+ views shows the interest in ppl in any news about ps3,lets hope that SE show any news even bad news but news either way xD
