PS3 Release

Where is this fun and where can I buy it? You really think the game improved a lot since the failed release? It didn't. They fixxed the UI, added a handfull of NM (r50 "content") and increased the SP gain. Beside some other minor tweaks, that's it.

This game still fails at its most important part: FUN.

Fix the game first THEN talk about a re-release on the PS3.

SE will not release this game on the PS3 until they are sure they can turn around the negative press it has received. The PS3 launch will be billed as a relaunch of the game and they will pull out all the stops with it adding a load of new content with it, they will do everything they can to say "look at all the changes we have made, this game is a lot better now". Everything rides on the PS3 release so there is no way they would release now or the reviews and media would just say "yeah they improved a few things but there is still problems and no content."

If they released now what would they say "we have cleaned up the UI a bit, changed SP/EXP accumulation and a few other things." hardly inspiring is it. It would be a lot better if they could say "Look we have a new UI, new zone's, new missions, new quests, new classes, companies, airship's, chocobo's, NM's and a lot more." Now that would get me interested again.

So we are just going to have to be patient, once they have the UI how they want it and the gameplay and mechanic's of the game nailed, then they will start looking at the PS3 release. As it is now we are playing nothing more than an extended beta.

I say at least give out a beta for PS3 users. That way they know where the game is at and can experience the game develop and change just like the PC users.

I think as long as SE is not charging the PC audience, they won't begin cementing a path for the PS3.

As another has said, until SE can turn around negative press on the game as it is now, they will not have success on their PS3 launch.

If you're solely waiting for the PS3 version, may want to do other things and check back in at the end of the year for updates (i.e. if beta testing has begun, release date has been shipped)

Ya why not be on ps3 this game is so console based, I don’t like using game pads I prefer keyboard and mouse. The lack of binding specially for a mouse & cam options I can’t really comprehend why they didn’t do that. You can’t play in full screen because if you alt tab a lot like me it will crash on you so your forced into windowed witch now your limited on res setting at that point. So its not really ready for PC
