I say, you stop pretending to know more than you do with your feeble attempt to condescend to others in order to try and make yourself feel good, because you clearly have little concept of prices in the gaming industry for the past two generations. You people are aware that the only reason 2.0 was $30 for a PC, ($40 for PS3), was because it was mostly rehashed content from 1.0 and then they built up on that? 3.0 is going to be entirely new content, and given the trends of other MMOs with expansions costs ranging from $20-$40, this is acceptable. When you start paying $20-$40 USD for DLC-tier content, then you can have reasonable argumentative ground to stand on.

what we will get is the reworked 1.0 Coerthas areas and the redesigned 1.0 Mor Dhona areas.
Are you trying to tell us in all seriousness it was not possible for SE to redesign these areas in the last 18 months?
while they earned 250$ from each player since restart?

we have been charged once for one half of the promised content and are now charged again for the rest.

what is a bit ironic, because the subscribers already financed the development of Heavensward with their subscriptions.

actually yes. i'll buy the expansion for 20 when it costs 20.
the 40$ is just to rip off the hardcore that desperately need to cap their iLV asap.

look at the maps of the new heavensward Coerthas areas and you will learn that it's the same 2010 maps in new design.
but why release these redesigned areas with the major updates when you can charge for it?

well... somebody has to make up for 10 years FF15 development, so why not us.
