whaaa. now you're getting into some social hierarchy propaganda crap.. Proletariat much?
I will tell you this, I do not give one bit of crap about my buyers, that's clear. But my point isn't regarding the issues that will arise between sellers and buyers. Rather, between the wholesalers vs. casual crafters.

The only reason wholesalers don't sell things by small quantities even though it would increase their sales is, because of the added overhead and the overcrowding that would result from it and consequently people would not shop there if the place was always packed to the wall..

    But this is a game.
    1. Added overhead?
By allowing people to buy singles off of 1 large stack, your retainer slots can still be used normally, in fact, your retainer slots are even more freed up because you don't have to list multiple large/small stack batches.

    2. Overcrowding?
Since everybody goes to the same MB for purchases, that does not exist in this game. I normally avoid going to Costco to buy my groceries because it's so damn crowded, but the game's system is more akin to internet shopping where such issues don't exist.

So think about this, if they allowed a more efficient listing of items that can be sold in wholesale OR singles, without any negative effects, what makes you think a regular Joe can compete with that?

That's like trying to start an online business and selling exactly the same merchandise as amazon.. You just won't be able to do it.

You DO understand that the MB is a business and not a charitable organization right? Of course the sellers have their own agenda and care about their profit margins...
As for me - violently opposed to any idea or suggestion that would render me unable to have full control over how many I sell, or what price I choose to sell at, or undercut by.

Personally I am against this solution, Size of stacks is retail and whole sale (play market).
In addition most mats can be gathered, crafted, or bought from NPC shops.
Actually I make profit by buying stacks of x99 and re-sell them in stacks of x10 or x15.

Allowing to purchase in singles, would ONLY work if there was a shared economy across all servers like in GWII. We also need sell orders and buy orders. I don't see this being implemented any time soon. For those curious, look up how the market board in GWII works.
