Well At least they didn't use Minfillia.
Somehow she would have had another character do all the fighting and manage to take all the credit for herself.

Lol and her attacks would be like Yuna's, where other Warriors of Light are attacking for her, and her final attack would be being kidnapped by an Asian and his super attack would mistakenly hit her opponent instead of her. At the end of her final attack, another Warrior of Light comes in to save her.
On the other hand, I secretly would like Minfillia to be in Dissidia, just for the sake of turning an inactive main character into someone so badass, it'll be like Monty Oum's Dead Fantasy, turning Kairi into a kickass machine. And I forgot to mention that this has got me so excited that if this is a hoax or doesn't follow through, my heart would give out. Been longing for another Dissidia for the longest time, and if this is definitely on PS4 console, I better see an amazing amount of playable characters in it. If PSP could fit 30 characters, PS4 better be able to fit double that amount.
Update: Looking a little more into this, I'm starting to get more skeptical about it, since they say it's for Japanese arcade. With that, now I'm back to the, I'll believe it when I see more, especially with awesome things that Japan makes, tend to stay in Japan.

Or her final attack would her being on the phone and holding up a finger to her opponent so he pauses his attacks and dies of old age because she never hangs up.Lol and her attacks would be like Yuna's, where other Warriors of Light are attacking for her, and her final attack would be being kidnapped by an Asian and his super attack would mistakenly hit her opponent instead of her. If this is truly just an arcade game I think there's no hope of seeing it outside Japan. In Japan you still find arcades fairly commonly (although half of the building are usually those UFO-catcher prize-grab thingies), but in the US they're practically dead.
SE already has an awesome arcade game in Japan: http://kotaku.com/5875066/guns-blazi...anese-arcades/
I've played it many times when there and really wish they would bring it to the US, but can understand why they don't bother.
On the other hand, while Gunslinger Stratos would be hard to bring to console (it has 2 guns which you can combine in various ways to form different weapons, and the guns have thumbsticks and other controls on them ---- very specialized hardware), a fighting game should not be. So hopefully someday they might port this to XB1/PS4.

I hearby dub him "Meteor Derplander"

Wtf, why Y'shtola it should have been louisoix I mean he basically saved the whole realm.

Do you think the home version will be more then PSP/Vita this time around? They haven't announced what home consoles this is coming to yet.

It's an arcade game, hence you go to an arcade hang out and play it on a arcade box. None of SE's Arcade games have ever been ported to console or ported to the NA community.

People are wagering PS3/PS4. They'll perhaps take advantage of PSVita's Remote Play feature with it. That way, SE don't have to work on porting it to handheld.
