New player asking some questions.

1. The reason why some macro's dont work is because there is animation delay. So sometimes when you want to use macro's you have to do a <wait.x>(x being # of seconds) at the end of the macro line. ALSO if you want to manually use the skills your pet has, they have to be set to Obey for a macro to work. You cant turn off that 70% heal thingy on Eos, you'll just have to let it finish its cast and resume what you want it to do.

2. Your healing numbers seems pretty normal to me? As long as your using the current level weapon that you can get. Adloquem does heal for a bit less than physick but it gives a shield buff for the amount healed for. Its probably something lower level tanks or dps don't understand just yet. Same thing can be said for succor. Scholars are no White mage when it comes to big aoe heals. That being said, you are in Aurum Vale, pretty big damages come in that dungeon for low levels. Especially that first room.

3. For the earlier level 50s, your artifact gear (which is given at the lv45 job quest) should be sufficient. Early lv50s meaning like Wanderer's Palace, Amdapor Keep, Haukke Manor Hard and Copperbell Hard. Crystal Tower: Labyrinth of the Ancients is good as well. You can try for things like Brayflox Longstop Hard, Halatali Hard and Lost City of Amdapore for lv70 gear. Dont forget though, once your lv50, you can farm soldiery tomes for lv100 gear if you so wish.

4. Im not a SCH main so i cant give you gameplay tips, All I know is the basics of healing. Buff the tank b4 a pull > Heal. Seeing that you even tried to dps is a plus o3ob
