    /playtime

    Is the amount of hours we're playing being tracked? Will the devs ever add a feature so we know how many hours we have put in, or at least release it through event NPCs?

    Or is this too depressing of a feature and should stay unimplemented?

    This would be cool to see in the future. When I look at the time played in XI I get this weird sense of gratitude for the creators of that game for giving me a whole another world to live in for all those da... coughmonthscough...ys of my life =)

    I don't know back when i played ffxi and saw them numbers it worried me that I had a severe addiction. I spent a whole year logged in evidently lol.

    It would be an interesting feature. They could just list it on the Character Select screen, kinda like loading a save in every FF since VI(I think)/Kingdom Hearts game.

    I've got a PS memory card with FF1,2,4,5,6,7,8,9, CT, & CC files on it that show times. I copied it to my PS2 card that also had my X, X-2, and XII, KH and KH2 play times. Not to mention the ~170 days my /playtime showed in FFXI. But that's on the HDD, can't check from a memory card, of course.

    a lot of people have a lot of gameplay due to being AFK selling so that not much of a issue anyways
