Can we please have the Cartano flats as an open world area?

The Cartano flats is with out a doubt one of the most important areas Lore wise with so much stuff in it the scenery the landscape not to mention its role in the story so can't we have it as an open world option so we can explore it maybe have a quest line to it to uncover the secrets it holds.

Also, not going to happen. People have been clamoring for dungeons to be open world since launch and that doesn't look like it's on the drawing board at all.

It doesn't need to be an open world dungeon, but I would like to see it without entering PvP. I guess I'll have to queue for PvP, get on my mount and mind my business exploring the map :/

I wish they would open up dungeons as well. Just get rid of the treasure chests and bosses in the open-world versions. Keep the regular mobs for some element of danger (at least in higher level dungeons). I usually spend the full five minutes after completing a dungeon just wandering around. But five minutes isn't enough!

I think I'd like to be able to go into an "instance" and be able to take a party-if I want-into dungeons and these areas without any monsters and just stroll around. Make a DF mode without a specific goal, chest or target, let me stroll around, even keep the timer if you have to.

I don't see why it couldn't. Carteneau is much like the world map, and even part of it. It's not a dungeon. It wouldn't be hard to just include it as another zone.
