    Head sets

Dose any one know a good head set to use for voice chat? IV recently joined a group where every one needs to talk but I don't have a good head set for voice.

I would prefer not to use a ear bud.

I would also prefer to use a head set that only has one headphone as I use my iPod for voice and I like to hear the game sounds as I listen on vent.

Any feed back would be appreciated.

What's your price range? I personally love Astro, I own an A40 and A50. They're 250-300 dollars but the sound and mic quality is great and they come with a mixamp that let's you connect things like an iPod and even optical. They're also compatible with PlayStation and Xbox.

I would probably suggest a bluetooth headset. You should be able to find one on amazon that might fit your needs and it might be more convenient for you since you can just plug your ipod and have it sitting on a table or something while you talk over the wireless bluetooth headset.

I'd actually still suggest one with two headphones, because in some places (Levi Ex springs to mind), stereo sound and hearing if the watery splosh comes from the left or the right tends to help a lot in dodging. It's not a necessity, of course, but it helps me greatly.
(Theoretically you could then use an in-ear thingy for your iPod and stick that inside of the other headphones for vent, especially if they're over-ear instead of on-ear, but I've never actually tried that myself, so I don't know if it would cause sound issues or other types of interference.)

I second this. Had my A50's since they came out and one of the better purchases i've made. Price might seem expensive but they are definitely worth it.

Like Nikita said they come with a mixamp and you can have multiple audio sources feeding into the headset.. so can play the game audio and have an ipod, etc plugged into it at the same time. I use them with both my PC and PS4.
