Yes this exactly. This is why i dont mess with df for certain things. I can bitch all day long but in the end i rolled the dice. so i make my own pf parties with the expectations clearly outlined. its not until people ignore those clearly outlined expectations that problems arise. even when getting clears for fc mates, i try to pf as much as possible for pugs. but before we can que, every single time, we have to go through the list of pugs and MAKE SURE that every one of them meets the party reqs. here is the part that gets me, being trolled by people when you are weeding them out! guess i can't blame them, getting kicked either way...

I don't think it has anything to do with bitterness.
I almost agree with that, you are preventing other people from being able to play and you are doing it on purpose with the expectaion of forcing them to carry you... its borderline, but its damn near bannable. and it almost should be. It's getting so out of hand. i love seeing new players, but i hate how many of them are looking for a carry, and expecting you to cater to their feelings while they are getting it! F**K your feelings! and your couch too!!

Just like a previous poster said, sounds like you want full reign of PF and DF. No. all jokes aside we need to realize not everyone plays and learns the same and have the same amount of time to put in to catch up to everyone else. That's not saying people have the right to lie and such. But you need to ask yourself, why do some players lie about things like that. Maybe because they are tired of being bashed for not being good enough as others or being ousted when they say, hey I'm new.

I'm tired of the whole.."watch a video" thing with this game. I learn by doing more so than by watching. And even if I watch said video, it won't matter until i actually try. The problem isn't watching the video, its the people that think not watching it makes you a bad player. Its a game. One of the fun things about playing a game is learning from your mistakes.

Its a shame that we have this community that thinks you have to "one shot" everything and if shit gets too hard, you quit and blame others. I'm tired of waiting for df for 40 min, get in a duty, wipe once and tank leaves or healer leaves. This is not how gaming was when i was younger. And this attitude we see here just in this community of players kinda represents whats wrong with this world. The whole "I only help others if I can benefit" mentality is destroying us. So what if a new person joins your "clear party". You wanna show skill? You wanna be the best? Take that person and show them how to do it. Then brag that hey, we helped a person that never saw this before and created a monster. Not everyone is looking for a "carry". Most are just looking for the opportunity to do it themselves, learn the mechanics themselves, but you need others to even make the attempt. Just because you cleared it and someone in your party didn't doesn't mean they are looking to get carried. If anything, the casuals are carrying this game because if it wasn't for them, SE wouldn't even have the funds to release an expansion this year.

At least try and help people first off before going nuts. Wanting to kick people, if it was up to most of you, you would kick 90% of the player base out of the game. Try harder to be better human beings and sometimes be above that stuff. be the better person. This game is tough for newbies after you get to lvl 50, not because of content, but because of the community. That's saying a lot. Makes me ashamed sometimes reading some of you people's comments.

My FC actually had to blacklist a certain player because they kept coming into our farm parties and causing wipes MULTIPLE TIMES. This person was very clearly not capable of farming the fight in question, yet they joined every single farm party that went up for that fight. And the worst part of all? They NEVER improved, not even a little bit. They kept on making the exact same mistakes even after people pointed them out.

If you can't reliably one-shot a fight, then don't join a farm party for it. It's not that complicated.

One time a guy in a farm party kept dying to the same part in the fight -- Leviathan, shortly after railings come off -- and the leader kindly said that the player in question gets one more shot, but if they die again they're getting the boot. He was being nice about it, but then the player goes on to say how he doesn't need to be cyberbullied on a game, and will fix the problem by leaving the party himself.

I honestly can't see where some people get these outlandish perceptions from, but it's just a game. And millions play it. And we already know a majority of people aren't very bright.

If you feel like SE doesn't care about how these players feel then go ahead and explain why everything gets nerfed for them every 3-6 months. Maybe they'll add that feature, I hope they do, but I highly doubt it.
interesting thing about the ban thing; account action can happen should someone lie/break contract. joining someones party thru pf that is asking for clear exp when one doesnt can end badly for that person should someone be inclined to report it. its the same with selling primals/gear.

Stop trying to twist this into another "nobody helps noobs" thread. If someone is intentionally deceitful joining my of group then a kick is warrented. Just like I would kick a smn wearing dex accessories to meet the ilvl to join a pf. Or say I specify I want a bard and a bard joins and changes to drg hoping I don't notice. If a party finder leader has explicit criteria spelled out and you are intentionally deceitful in order to skirt them, FU. This is not about kicking noobs. It's about respecting the group you are joining. This has nothing to do with watching videos or vets joining learning parties. It is really simple. Don't meet PF requirements? Don't join or petition your case with WORDS. Dont try to pull a fast one and then be butt hurt when you are kicked.

This is not some elaborate moral dilemma. If your not tall enough to ride some dudes pf, then go make your own. Not put on 6 inch stilettos and fake it.

Everyone has the right to make a pf with any requirements they see fit. If there's a lala only pf and your not a lala. To bad. Their pf, their rules. You want your rules make your own.

maybe if your pf entries are attracting rude and dishonest players, you should not use pf entry requirements that are appealing to rude and dishonest players

it's almost like, idk, the modern standard of how people act in party finder encourages scumbaggery as the most successful way to get things done because of how players treat each other in it, which begins and ends with party leaders and how they use their authority
