I have always felt guilty rolling need on anything. But as I go on in these dungeons I noticed so many people rolling need so I don't feel as guilty anymore.

your opinion on modern bullying is bullying me in my rights to feel bullied.
joking aside, using features as they are designed is NOT bullying. Troll is becoming obvious.

wow, didnt know rolling need on gear i want for whatever reason i want it for was considered bullying. nice "logic".True, so the system is fair so long as everyone everywhere is a selfish jerk. But many use the buttons for their intended purpose. I, for one, am generally a tank with better gear than what dropped. As such, I click "greed" on tank gear even though I technically can click "need." As such, I put myself on appropriate and equal footing with the rest of the party. I refuse to bully others because I have been bullied.

Can someone please explain to me what logic is there in everybody hitting greed on a minion in some sort of unspoken gentleman's agreement that would have ZERO DIFFERENCE from everyone hitting need?
If you want an item that badly, roll a run with a few friends and rig the system in your favor. Problem solved.

Just to be a spiteful bitch, I'm going to roll Need on all items that I can roll Need on... because my retainers need the gear and I need the seals. And my needs, though different from others in my party, are just as valid as everyone else's.
Now if I could just win some sands/oil...
You're right. And that's why in cases where I know everyone has the Need button available, I just click Need anyway and hope everyone else makes the same realization. Perhaps even better labels for the buttons would be:
Need -> Need more than others because it's an upgrade
Greed -> Need as much as others because I want it for some other reason
Although technically, in the case of a minion, an ideal would be that clicking "Need" was only available when you didn't have it and bound it to you and that anyone wanting to sell or trade one would have to use "Greed."
