People emoting to figure out who people are and targetting them

There is probably a reason why you can't see people's names and just their classes, so why do they still allow people to emote at enemies to discover who they are? Everyone that I know is Mael and I am Adder and they tell me they have an emote macro to find me and then focus me. It's not fun always being a target of 16 people on the opposing team just because they know me.

It's more for clarity than for stopping griefers

I have done this by accident with macros, like where I have one that marks a specific target as bind3 (I try to use marks others are likely to use and overwrite), and after it marks them it says something like 'Get target marked bind3 off me so I can heal!!!'. Because if it says instead 'Get <bind3> off me....' it pulls their actual name. If players are going to the trouble to find you by name and focus you they need to find more effective ways to play... but next time it happens, just pick one and mark them and ask your team to focus them the same way and perhaps they'll reconsider if it's worthwhile. I suppose if you did something like target them and have a command like /echo <t> if your chat log is set to display Echo messages, only you will see the name in your chat log. And if it's a person you know, use this macro I just wrote for you but haven't tested:

/enemysign attack5 <t>
/party Help me get revenge by focusing target marked as 5! I know them personally and they grief the Twin Adders every chance they get.

That's for after you identify them using a macro like below to see if the name is one of the people in question. And if they are the. You'd kick off the macro above. The good thing is enemy signs persist after revive so pick one person and make them pay the entire match. And then next time it happens, do the same until they tire of it.
