    2.51 Patch Date?

    Hi, sorry if this has been asked elsewhere, but does anyone know if an official date has been announced for 2.51? I keep hearing the 24th of this month but I see no confirmation of this from an official source. I was expecting an announcement today if we were getting the patch next Tues.

    Yes, Gold saucer is the 24th. It was announced in a live letter a few weeks ago.

    If you keep hearing 24th of this month it's probably because of the "Unavailable Times for Ceremonies of Eternal Bonding". It usually match with maintenances/updates/patches

    Ok thanks everyone. I noticed that the unavailable times for eternal bonding list possible dates: 23rd, 24th, 25th. So I suppose SE did this to give themselves some wiggle room. Still, the timeframe looks promising and at least it means 2.51 is next week. Super psyched.

    It's because they specifically said the 24th in a live letter. Not through some extrapolation from that page.

    In general, the first step to alerting you all to when the patch is planned is with the all Worlds maintenance announcement and in the case of major Patch releases (like 2.1, 2.2, 2.3, etc.) the release of preliminary patch notes. Normally we don't release prelim notes for the .x1 type patches; however, since the release of the Manderville Gold Saucer is pretty substantial and features a lot of new content, we may do something different this time.

    Nothing is quite solidified, but keep your eyes peeled!

    No questions were asked about the future of the Zodiac this patch and it is rumored to continue in this next patch
    Any word on that ? And any reasoning to why no questions were asked/answered about it in the Live Letter........
